    i wouldn't be surprised if after this year, there is no more Superliga

    the organizers expected the Mexican teams to bring their first team, when in fact they will be playing with bench and Primera A guys

    goes to show that the Mexican teams don't give a shit about this joke of a so called tournament. we get nothing positive out of it.

    if anything, it just makes the stupid Spazzos feel good about themselves

    this touney sucks so bad its depressing. Its not even glorified friendlies.

    This tournament is not loved north of the border, either. Crowds are less than impressive. (I'm glad DC United isn't in it this year, due to the fixture congestion it causes.) Will this be this last year?
    BTW, Kansas City was playing Atlas in St. Louis at the university soccer stadium there. KC temporarily plays in a minor league baseball stadium, though they are about to build a new stadium, which looks like it might be pretty good.
