Saturday was my first experience with Lot A (I figured the weather was a good time to utilize a free parking pass).

The lot wasn't too bad. But the walk along the fence and to the stadium was pretty awful.

I'd be happy to trade complaining about formations, players out of position, FO's shallow pockets, pretzel temperature at PPL for "the floats in this years championship parade were kinda meh, last year's floats popped when we won it all, and the costumes left me flat".Really, I'm ready.

Is there a membership card? Or maybe a smallish, silky card pouch scarf?

The players definitely bear some responsibility in giving up those goals, but if it's not clear, for example, who should be marking who on set pieces, then how is that not a coaching problem? Blaming the players only goes so far. Late half (especially stoppage time) goals and set piece failures have been a recurring theme under Hackworth, and two (arguably three) of the last four games featured them. Going back to the end of last season, the last two games also featured late goals to down the Union. Poor defensive discipline and a lack of concentration are evident on just about all of them.

Significant?? You sure about that?? I would say its rare....or are you just making that statement about the Union?

In all honesty, the Nexus is the Ying to the happy clappers Yang....makes for a more interesting board! IMO

Ummm......really? Only Rob V remains. Sorber, Curtin, Albright, and the Academy Staff were all hired by Hackworth AFTER he was appointed manager on a full time basis.

I tried to find stats for MLS for short handed goals and I couldn't find anything..... But in the NHL, the average PP Goal is approx. 20% and short handed goals 3%.... so out of 500 PP there's roughly 15 short handed goals. I would call the 75% of not scoring at all on a PP ...'SIGNIFICANT'

The Unions record for being a man up would be way below the average if I had to guess!

Seriously, this stands alone in the bizarro world of John HackWTForth http://m.mlssoccer.com/news/article...referral&utm_content=News&utm_campaign=Unpaid

Williams is "on the outside looking in"?!?! Is it because he forgot his security card? He's below Fabinho and Gaddis? And now pain free? How? I get that you've got to tip your hat to man management and say "oh no ones guaranteed a place" and all that pap, but a few moths removed of Daniel and Cruz written in ink on the lineup card? C'mon, he's having us on, right?

C'mon bro. I love how you'll argue and start to throw out stats because of a word I used based upon my observation and opinion. How about this, it happens significantly more than I think it should ... sometimes teams play more aggressively when they're down to 10 men, and the other team takes their "man advantage" for granted.

Trade your top goalscorer for some scrub who has yet to cut it in this league.

Chill muffin, I was just backing up my opinion on what significant means to me with some stats. Can we agree then, that the Unions record being a man up is disappointing? Wherever the blame should lie?

Next time, could you at least link to a dictionary.com entry for what "significant" means? ;)

There you go......but I don't see how that helps, I mean, didn't Clinton come out with this gem...."It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." ;)

A player gets a red card after 16 minutes against us? Trade for him. That's some ********ing work rate.

How many times in the last two seasons have the Union failed to hang on to second half leads?

On top of that they continue to have lapses on set pieces. At some point the manager needs to be held accountable to fix bad trends.

I've heard people saying that Pedro Ribeiro is starting at CB for Harrisburg tonight...

Seriously, what in the HELL is wrong with the organization from the top down to the feeder team? Can NO ONE actually play a player in their goddamned natural position?

"We've got no height on the backline. Take the four tallest guys and start playing them at the back. We can use them next year."

How tall is Andre Blake anyway? Isn't he like 6'3 like Ribiero?

Give me those gloves, Andre... You can have em back if you get called up for Jamaica.

I'm watching Vancouver vs. Colorado online, it's refreshing to see two sides pass and move. Both of their managers are recently retired former MLS players. I particularly like how the Colorado defenders don't mindlessly kick the ball 30 yards up field, they constantly look for someone to pass to and spread the ball around. Both teams look coached.
