Van Persie swings in a free kick and connects with a poorly marked Hernandez for a goal. 3 - 2 United.

Nothing Guzan could do. Poor marking from Vlaar and Lowton.

I hate when I'm right, Manchester looking for one more goal.

The good news for Lichaj is that the fullbacks Stevens and Lowton were the ones primarily at fault on all the goals. Guzan didn't make a lot of saves and he didn't have much of a chance on any but the first goal.

I feel bad for Guzan. He didn't have much to do. Unfortunately, when he did, it was picking the ball out of the net. I know it's United but those defenders in front of him made careless, lazy mistakes. They cost AV the game. Every single one of the goals were very preventable.

I would tend to agree, but I have not seen every performance. He seems to be equal in ability to Lichaj defensively and worse going forward.

Chance that Lichaj starts in 2weeks?

50/50. I just don't think he's favored. From my vantage point, it would seem that his time with Villa is coming to a close.
