Wasn't he supposed to be one of the next big things out of South America?

He was, and still is, probably, one of the next big things out of Bolivia. Which isn't saying much.

I haven't seen that many signings lately. There was Eisfeld, Gnabry, and the Macedonian keeper, but I don't remember much else.

That Squillaci guy has been a fixture for the reserve team.

I think he has a bright future.

Ryo came on as a sub for his first appearance in a few months - and now it looks like he's hurt his ankle/leg. No me gusta.

Of 13 Gunners out on loan only 4 played for their respective teams at the weekend, with Joel Campbell being one of those and subsequently subbed after 19 minutes (because the goalie was sent off).

Yes, some are injured but are the rest really that bad?

Out of all the loanees, how many do we think have a legitimate future at Arsenal? Ryo, Campbell? Who else?

still too early to say for a lot of the academy players. of the 1st team players on loan that we actually want back...i'd suspect maybe only campbell. i just have a sneaking suspicion miyaichi won't last at arsenal.

He did well but can he make the step up to Arsenal which is a whole different level than Crewe. I still think out of the three "A" strikers (4 if you count Ansah) only Akpom will make it. He really seems like the real deal.

no question about the level difference. i'm thinking of talent level, how they're thought of and projectable.

also, my impression is aneke is midfield.

His main attribute at the moment is his strength, at his level he is a 'bully'. He has nice feet and a good eye for a finish but I'll be interested to see him when that advantage is canceled out

Any news on Boateng? At the Dallas Cup he was our most impressive player, even ahead of Frimpong, haven't heard much from him since.
