If Sao Paulo couldn't be tricked into signing Denilson permanently I doubt a mid-table to relegation fighting Spanish club would be interested.
The funniest thing to me is that huge club badge that Denilson runs over to, kneels, and presumably kisses. Maybe that means he's super-duper, mega, no-fingers-crossed serious that they want to stay with the club? Gazidis: Call Sao Paulo and sell him TODAY.
Wow, not one comment on the Great Dane? Who said that absence makes the heart grow fonder? His loan move seems to be a bust so far. He has appeared in just one game for Juve this year. If that does not deflate his oversized ego, nothing ever will. Unfortunately for us though, he will very likely be back at Arsenal at the end of the season.
According to transfermarkt.co.uk, he is under contract until june 2014. At his current rate of return, he will not worth much by the time he gets back from his Italian vacation next year.
I'd take him back and keep him around to give Chamakh some competition for cup game substitutions . But the dude has scored 40+ goals for us. Really sad situation if I am being honest. He had potential.
Denilson is currently playing for Sao Paolo on FoxDeportes in the Copa quarterfinal, if anyone else has that station . . . . or cares.
Can't sell him and he cost us next to nothing. Why not? He is a 15 goal striker. But it will never happen. Plus, he never got a chance while RvP was here and Ade. Always tried hard and came through our ranks. Is he not better than Chamakh?
great goal by Chuks http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/a...eke-scores-cracker-for-crewe-v-wycombe-video/
Where the hell is Miyachi? (Ryodinho) Just take him back Wenger, f wigan, they havent given the lad a chance yet
Aneke and Campbell scoring some bombs. Denilson too...why don't we score bombs. I was wondering about Ryo earlier as well, but he's had injury problems this season.
It seems that the teams fought in the tunnel at halftime, and the Argentine team claims the cops came in and pulled guns then beat the crap out of them. They refused to take the field in the second half and Sao Paulo was given the title. Still, Sao Paulo was leading 2-0 in the first half, having drawn nil-nil in Argentina. The shocking thing is now Denilson has won a recent trophy and Arsenal still hasn't.
In the final of the 2nd biggest continental tournament, the away side was either attacked by Sao Paolo police or club security or stormed the Sao Paolo locker room and were intercepted by polic/club security during halftime (depending on who you believe). The match had to be abandoned. No bueno.
