my argument is that we shouldn't. If tottenham can hold out on a ridiculous amount like 80 mil on bale then we should do the same with our star players. and thats freakin tottenham, we're worse off than them now?
40 mil isnt gonna do anything good for us...idk why everyone is infatuated with doing the juve finances...u guys dont know half the other expenses or where the money comes and goes...so to sit behind your comp to analyze juve's finances is comical. if we needed money desperately like a small club it would make sense, but we dont. so like davey said, why are we giving up our depth when we need to add to it?

people want us to become like bayerns and real madrids but u wanna sell all our best players for nothing. 40 mil will get u zuniga and diamanti, the rest will go in the team's pockets. would that make u happy selling marchisio for? LOL

Hmm, in the world of podcasts I'm not so sure it works that way.

You need to broaden your horizons then.

Tottenham is a worse team without Bale, much worse. Juve is in a different situation where as we wouldn't be. Can't compare the two.

It's just as comical as you claiming it won't do anything for us.

Bayerns and Real Madrids do sell their players, and they spend a hell of a lot more than we will on just one player.

If Juve spent €40 million of two quality players that solidify a position and help the team then yes, it's money well spent.

1- tottenham is worse off without bale, true, but are u saying they cant use 80 mil to load up the team to make up for the loss? lol i like to hear the logic in that

2- i said it wont do anything for us?? sure it will, it will get u zuniga and diamanti...its something but its not wise.

3- again as mentioned that 40 mil will get u 2 average players at best which wont do much to help us other than fill up the roster....e.g. padoin, caceres type players. they wont be difference makers. To me its not worth getting rid of an experienced player that has done so well. If u want to get to where bayern and real are, it takes time and u have to BUILD THE BRAND...thats what people forget. right now our brand is barely on the way up...if we were bayern, no matter how shit matri was, someone would buy him for 20 mil just cuz of the BRAND NAME....but if u dont do that, u get what u get...8 mil probably. Thats the sacrifice u make in the long run. u guys have the udinese mentallity....lets hurry and sell our players while we can before they turn 28

If Tottenham do not sell they are idiots. Hes good but not 102 million good. They could go buy Chelseas depth with that cash.

Have you looked at the market out there? They won't be able to load up with quality, unless they just want to buy players for the sake of it.

You said, and I quote... "40 mil isnt gonna do anything good for us." Getting Zuniga and Diamanti, isn't good for us.

So using your logic here Tottenham would spend 80 million on 4 average players at best.

No, that's just you projecting onto us.

40m is nothing. Many of the players that were bought on the cheap or weren't big names did a lot for our squads success. More then most of the previous big name/price signings. I think that if anyone wants Marchisio, Vidal or Pogba they need to put up 65-100m for any one of them. Otherwise why would Juve sell? Like you always say, Juve has money.

No doubt and its not even close to who the better player is. Even Conte recognized this at the end of last year when he changed the formation just to accommodate Pogba. He took Marchisio's spot then and Juve are not going to play a 3-5-1-1 now so it was already written. If not for being the last man in camp Pogba would have started on Sunday but Conte had to keep the house pet happy. Now he has the excuse and Juventus will be better off.

Ya with Pogba playing more games I think Marche will be seeing less playing time....The guy is tall as shit has a nice shot and is alot more creative than Marche.....You guys will win the league again this year Napoli has brought in two many new players its going to take us so much time to gel that we wont even be a threat perhaps next season Ben needed to do alot of work with our team we had a team set up to win the ball and run like mad to score goals....

Juve is going east I believe. Was there not something in Australia? Then there is Beijing for the Super Coppa.

if WC is over mid July, how are these teams still doing summer tournaments if their stars happen to play until July ? they wont have breaks after the season and have to go to WC camps...then late august is probably when the season starts....that leaves 5-6 weeks gap between WC and the season opener....then you have the super cup finals a week before the season too. Just seems too much

A lot of the teams use these pre-season tours to give the lesser guys a chance. Especially in a summer like this. Plus they make good money.
