I would say yes, Real Madrid playing Comunicaciones the best team of Central America
Sin Campo Para entrenar http://www.guatefutbol.com/index.php/news/13-featured-news/10481-sin-campo-para-entrenar Lol, that's freaking ghetto. La sele can't train because St. Vincent doesn't have an adequate training field. Man, they should sanction them for that kind of BS. And they put them in a hotel right next to the Airport, probably so the noise would keep them up at night. I hope la sele thrashes them for this non-sense.
65' Guatemala empata 1-1 quien mas que La Messi Martinez... what a finish. Desafortunadamente Penal para CR 1 minuto mas tarde.
71' Another PK for CR, Guatemala defender fouled while attempting to make a clearance... swing and miss. 1-3
I was hoping for a much closer match, the Ticas Ricas completely outplayed Guate and the latter were actually lucky they didn't get a worse hammering. Good team the Ticas, they might have a shot at the Olympics. Guate now must win the next and last game vs. El Salvador to qualify to the Pre-Olimpico as they are tied with the Catrachas in points and GD but fewer goals scored. El Salvador killed Honduras 6-1 earlier vastly improving their chances of qualification.

4' Golazo de Guate, 1-0 11' Golazo de El Salvador, 1-1, on a low FK Mostly a midfield battle between the teams since the El Salvador goal, neither team getting close to a scoring chance. The Catrachas successfully cooling it down and Guate without enough people or ideas in attack. 1-1 HT. Raul Calderon needs to get a couple subs in IMO. Not enough pace in there.
78' Guate getting closer but still not a clear chance. Best players are Gloria Loaiza (defender, very good at going forward) and Ana Martinez (playmaker but rather deep and unable to connect with the wings/strikers). Time running out. El Salvador has parked the bus.
80' goooooooolazo!!!! Guate 2-1 Idania Perez #18 from 30 yards, bombazo cruzado, goalie touches it but it still goes in. First shot on goal of the entire second half is a scorcher by Idania which puts her team in Vancouver. Go-la-zo
87' El Salvador shot inches from Goal... intense last minutes 90' HOLY cow... El Salvador strike from 35+ yards is mishandled by the Guate keeper, ball seems to go in, she recovers control of it. Goal not given. A couple of seconds later she fakes injury. Wow. What an ending.
Guatemala 2-1 El Salvador. FT. Costa Rica and Guatemala advance to the final Pre-olympic tournament. The ladies get the job done, by a very small margin, and with controversy, but they did it. They will now go and play against the best of the area and some of the best players in the world in January in Vancouver: USA, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Guatemala are the qualified teams. Hopefully the sele femenina get some friendlies and training cycles before then, and aim to perform better than during the WCQ last year (lost all three games including 0-9 to the US).

Most.Homer.Highlights.Ever. Lol, that bitter maker of those highlights didn't even include the winning goal.
