If our country wasnt so corrupt a ban of a few years wouldnt be too bad. But theyre making examples of these guys to discourage others.

Dez's dream came true too because Gallardo is out for the next 5-6 months with a torn ACL.

HELL and YES! Suck it Gallardo! In regards to canche, Dr Aguilar seems to think it was in retaliation to ratting out Pando and the other idiots.. he also said that even when Galindo recovers that Almeida won't call him as he is still upset over choosing to play in those games rather than la sele..

Xelajú MC 3-2 W. Connection. Xela suffered because the Trinidadians were very effective on the attacking third, but solid peformances by Israel Silva and Kevin Arriola helped the SuperChivos win. A draw at Guadalajara sees them through to the next round but they will need to defend much better than today.

I dont know Catracho hard to say, the way Chivas been playing, that will be the pudding on the cake if Xela can take a point away from the Chivitas

But you know, aswell as any other Central American.. that our teams never do well in Mexico, no matter how bad in form the other team is.. Chivas beat Leon 2-1 in Leon despite their terrible play on the field and Leon is one helluva team this season.

Municipal 2-1 Chorrillo. Bad game. First half was a mess with the Panamanian team getting a very early goal and then destroying everything Municipal attempted to create (which wasn't that much). Somehow they equalized via Loco Rodriguez who finished well off a tight angle. Penedo as usual saved the night in more than one occasion. 2nd half Albizuris came in, as did Isaula and the locals dominated thoroughly with a more fluid attack. The winning goal came from a long ball to Loco Rodriguez who crossed it from the left flank to Leandro who missed the header but the defender connected poorly and divided the ball between the Brazilian and the Panamanian keeper with the former getting there first and putting it away.

Having lost a game they could have won to Monterrey, not much hope for Municipal - a decent showing at Monterrey wouldn't hurt, even if it's only for the sake of pride.

good win for los Rojos and Xela, at least this time around both teams are winning games but i hope they step it up a little more cause when we play the Mexican teams at their own home it'll be very tough.

The story of 22-year old forward Vincenzo Bernardo from Morristown, N.J., who at one point was part of the Napoli youth system, and who was recently signed by Dep. Guastatoya of the Primera División de Ascenso:

You can see there he provided a match-winning assist for his team in the dying minutes of last month's match vs. Dep. San Francisco.
