That was actually Pia thoughtfully preparing some direct messages for Hope.

30' 0-0 #15 Bussaglia back-heels a flick-past just beyond midfield box right, #8 Jon Myong-Hwa clatters into her. Cardless foul. France promptly lose it again.

33' 0-0 Rare space in the 1/3 for France. Thiney connects with Necib behind arc top right, her diagonal flick misses Le Sommer, who cut inside instead of down box right.

34' 0-0 France called for a shirt-pull. North Korea hoof the free kick way forward, France blast it back down right touch, miss. DPRK win two deep (their) left throw-ins, lose it, France win two (their) right throw-ins, lose it :)

Bompastor has one of those faces where she looks as sweet as sunshine even as she throws you a hard elbow in the gutt. lol

38' 0-0 Delie scythed down in center circle.
39' 0-0 France restart and probe forward, but DPRK clear it way back to Bouhaddi.
40' 0-0 DPRK throw-in on the midfield stripe right touch. They work it up box right, try right outstep flick to #10 Yun Hyon-Hi timing her jump, but it's blocked back. One-touch 2nd try catches Yun offside.

41' 0-0 France deep left throw-in, taken quickly. They've tried that tactic several times. #17 Thiney taps it past #3(c) Kim Myong-Gum through box left foot, Kim moving-screens her right into the endzone as Thiney tries to fight through. Both appeal for a foul on the other. France left corner, nothing.

Not sure that was the best option for Delie

    Delie should've waited for support

43' 0-0 France spring through midfield and hit #11 Delie at box top right. Defender encroaches her angle, Delie shoots early from 15m mid-right, poorly into the side netting. A bit anxious?

45' 0-0 France left corner, Necib curls it to 5m right post. #1 Jo comes out high and palms it over.

45' 1-0 France right corner, the memory of somebody's run-and-dunk stings. Curled to 5m left post, #4 Laura Georges front-cuts her defender at 12m, runs on untroubled, dunks, then collides with #1 Jo Yun Mi and pancakes her flat, like the steel balls that hang and go clack-clack.

time to sub tomis. le sommer is a horrible forward, not what the french make her out to be. again, she disappears on the pitch. with her on, delie is a lone striker. pretty easy to focus on defending her.

:giggle: Yeah poor USA, I'm sure Wambach &.co couldn't cope with all those big rough Colombian girls resorting to their typical OTT physical tactics. Damn those little girls and all their long balls
 OK, because the U.S. goals look like real things of beauty. I mean how many GK's can put a through ball on a dime as well Solo. Wow, it's all just so new.
Oh, I'm sorry, next time I'll pick a more topical genocide that we can all agree is more acceptable to the high intellectual demands of BS .

Would sir prefer the Bosnian vintage, or maybe the different to every man's taste palette Chinese Moa house special, plus there's a large range related to the Nazis, but that tends to leave a very bitter taste. Hey, but I don't know, maybe their all f*cked up, and your just being a little pedantic ;).

It's not just Le Sommer. Soubeyrand, Necib, Bompastor, and Franco are also marching in braying Bruno Bini's burro brigade. Head donkey Bruno has rewarded lackluster performance from a bunch of players who don't even deserve to be here on current form with starting spots.

53' 1-0 France has lost their mojeaux. North Korea does have a rugged, physical style that can be highly disruptive.

54' 1-0 #11 Kim Song Hui backshields at 34m left post, #15 Bussaglia crab-slides through her plant leg. Yellow card on Bussaglia?

55' 1-0 Free kick knuckles in the air, #18 Bouhaddi flaps at it and only double-palms it over. DPRK left corner, cleared.

56' 1-0 Delie gets loose down left touch, crosses at 16m into traffic, picked off.

57' 1-0 #20 Choe Mi-Gyong hoofs from center circle top right, drops to box top arc left. #18 Bouhaddi is way out there to catch it :speechless:, doesn't catch it :whistling:, drops it at her feet just above box top. She comes out a step and dribbles it around!!

    59' 1-0 North Korea subs in (2 of 3) #14 Kim Chung-Sim for #17 Choe Yong-Sim.

NK is slicing through the French defense. I've been very disappointed with the laxness of that backline and this comes from a girl, who a big fan of Wendi Renard. :(

61' 1-0 DPRK thread a pass to box top left, called back on a phantom offside.

    62' 1-0 France subs in:
    - (1 of 3) #10 Camille Abily for #6(c) Sandrine Soubeyrand
    - (2 of 3) #12 Elodie Thomis for #9 Eugénie Le Sommer.
