76' 1-0, 75 3-1 Cameroon right corner, outswings to 10m center. Many jump, all miss, ball continues to 10m left post, popped gently to 5m right post. #7 Gabrielle Onguene is right there with back to goal, stoops and flicks it up behind her, and in at the right post high.

78' 1-0, 77' 3-1 New Zealand free kick from 25, to 6-top 1/3 right. Ngo Ndom steps out, catches chest-high, as #8 Amber Hearn leaps across her, arms up in self-defense. Hearn brushes the ball right out of Ngo Ndom's grasp, it drops to her feet, she pokes it into right corner low. No goal, interference on the gk. Hearn is at midfield before she realizes it's not a restart.

    79' 1-0, 78' 3-1 Cameroon subs in (3 of 3) #17 Gaelle Enganamouit (FW) for #6 Francine Zouga (MF).

Yes, I imagine there will be a lot of people shocked when they hear her interviews after this match.

Welcome to our world. It's always nice to see new fans of the women's game :D

Here's a little fluff bio piece about Bardsley done during last summer's Women's World Cup. She grew up in California but her parents are from the UK.

eta: In this thread (and others), Smulan is definitely the expert on the GB team.

83' 1-0, 82' 3-1 GBR siege box top, create a half-chance for #2 Scott at arc left, she can't escape the arm-tug. Sidefoots to #?, Brasil close her down.

83' 1-0, 82' 3-1 New Zealand subs in (2 of 3) #11 Kirsty Yallop (MF) for #16 Annalie Longo (MF).

    84' 1-0, 83' 3-1 GBR subs in:
    - (2 of 3) #8 Fara Williams (MF) for #7 Karen Carney (FW)
    - (3 of 3) #9 E. White (FW) for #10 Karen Smith (FW).

    What is miracle about it?

Brasil has a losing record against top 10 teams this year.

Andrea has been solid for Brazil. Very key plays she's made.

84' 1-0, 83' 3-1 New Zealand get loose down box right, cross to #13 White unmarked at 10m center. She mistimes the low volley and pops it just over the crossbar.

86' 1-0, 85' 3-1 #6(c) Smith receives a mouse bruise on her right cheek. Has to trot into touch for some ice.

88' 1-0, 3-1 GBR are killing the game in the deep right corner, drawing whacks. Draw a free kick at 13m wide right ... curled low to 9m 6-right, Brasil clear.

Kate keeps harping about Brazil's "lack of preparation". Maybe she should acknowledge that they are pretty much on their own and their federation offers almost no support.

Good to see all American based Kiwi players like Ali Riley and Betsy Hasset going to the next round.

90' 1-0, 89' 3-1 NZL are killing their game off in the deep right corner, pinging triangles.

90' 1-0, 89' 3-1 Brasil shoot from outside the box, hard to right post but easy catch for Bardsley.

90+1' (of +2') 1-0, 90' 3-1 NZL right corner ... Cameroon clear, but NZL bring it up left touch.

 Quirkily, shlj (French) would be the expert on the GB players, following England and Arsenal as he does. Me, I fare far better with Swedish football, though I keep an eye on Scottish players.

Japan can't be too thrilled about this result.... even though they did beat Marta less Brazil earlier this year.
