3 days and 20 pages later they are still raging on whether or not it was a penalty for jozy. Cannot be serious...
LOL So now if people fall from an escalator for not paying attention, the escalator tripped you and it's their fault. Thanks Jozy Altidore for changing the rules of life.
It's because most post game shows declared it was a bad call by the ref. Not really anybody's fault, in real time it looked like a clear PK. Frankly, the whole ordeal was worth it to watch Mourinho lose his shit.
That dude must be Jozy's agent. My brother wouldn't defend me at a murder trial the way that dude takes up Jozy's case at any hint of derision.
This times one-f*cking-million... even perceived slights or injustices toward them become lame memes like "coulibaly'd" or "concacaf'd".. I always thought that coulibaly had decided before the free-kick that he was going to blow it dead, as simulation had drawn the previous foul. "Concacaf'd" doesn't get mentioned in association with the blown calls in the hex match at azteca. They just seem to feel the need to make themselves either some heroic or sympathetic protagonist in every storyline. They overcame, they got screwed, they battled and won respect. Mamadas...
they did the same with the offsides called against SJ, probably the one in the mex-nads game too. Nads trying to bend the laws of physics.
They actually had threads trying to prove they were right and it was pathetic in how bad they were but then again if they did the same to Jones....
You're actually being kind. They had threads essentially dedicated to, in a friendly no less, Eddie Johnson's offside goal that, in spirit, were "well, even if he were off by a head, the lineman couldn't have caught it in real-time, so, wrong call".. seriously.. How long did we bitch about Tevez being a full yard-and-a-half offside at the f*cking goalmouth in a once-in-four-years-if-you're-lucky WC knockout match? A week? Christ, Frings' handball and *possible* equalizing penalty still gets more run than that. Don't want to be unfair, they do have lots of sophisticated fans who recognize all this- who focus more on the "wow, we put out a nice squad and Brazil's kids just ripped us one.." and offer criticism with the praise. But they're so outnumbered by the "won respect" kool-aid crowd.
Exactly. According to their logic, the ref is supposed to make a bad call because a) refs make bad calls all over the world, so he should have in this case, and b) they, the fans, are somehow able to possess the ref's mind and body and see exactly what he sees, so they know for sure that the ref didn't see the play well enough to make the correct call. And since the ref supposedly didn't see it well, which they are assuming even though they have no idea, then the ref must make the call that benefits the nads. Unbelievable. Nad fans aren't even embarrassed to say these things. The last time I recall encountering mentalities like theirs was on the sandlot during childhood, where there's always the kid who tries to bend the rules in his favour or tries to change the score if no one's paying attention. It's bad enough when people act that way as kids, but as adults? It's just pitiful.
They're so desperate to compare Jozy and Cheech any chance they get. Fact is Hernandez is an proven EPL goalscorer, while Jozy can't hack the top level.
The other difference is, while jozy throws his temper tantrums on the field, when things are going bad, no matter how little playing time Chicharito gets, or even if he is having a bad day, he plays at 110%. That's the difference between minnows and great players. Chicharito has struggled more, he doesn't have the best set of skills on the ball, doesn't have the body of a tank, and he doesn't have the nationality to be considered one of the best at what he does. But guess what, he couldn't care-less, he has that hunger to win. Two seasons before he got picked up by united the guy was about to retire, yet he stuck it through and fought hard. Jozy has never had to struggle for anything, he has been pampered through the US system, he's been forgiven time and time again. Now that a coach realized he's not great as his two seasons in eredivise suggested and decides he is mediocre at best, fans and jozy cry and criticize. US fan boys and jozy, are pampered! Chicharito has 50+ goals in England at the end of the day he went and did his job at Manchester. Maybe he wont be a club legend when he leaves this summer, but he did well for the time he got, he will leave an amazing Goal/min ratio and as a fan favorite. While on the other hand jozy won't.
Gets called out and then proceeds to back track and blame a fellow nad. That guy has got to be one of the biggest dopes on BS.
