[A clear explanation or understanding seems to be an issue w/you: Murphy & I both were trying to say that Law is a CANDIDATE to be included in the DISCUSSION of the top/most effective goal-scorers in the history of the game. NOT that he is the definitive top-man... The entire reason that I quoted the Murphy text was so that "Jim" (& any other member) could get a then-contemporary practical football expert's take on Greaves v. Law as goal-scorers ONLY...]
