He's too busy setting them up to score them. Truly unselfish. Beautiful to witness.

EJ should be on the team, just his position should be on the bench behind Josimer

When was last time he scored? I wouldn't say great or greatest.

Setting them up:confused:? He does not keep the ball long enough to set anything up.

He is the greatest "could've been or could be"
striker we have ever had who has not used his talents to their fullest extent.
He's fast, agile and tall....BUT HE NEVER SEEMS TO HAVE A CLUE WHAT TO DO IN FRONT OF THE GOAL! SHOOT THE F'ING BALL! I WANT A ME ME ME ME ME ME ATTITUDE IN A STRIKER, NOT A LOOK TO PASS STRIKER. SHOOT THE BALL 20 TIMES A GAME FOR ALL I CARE, JUST SHOOT.

Ha ha. I like the idea but I don't want to waste my time like that. Scorpion had like 25 long post in support of EJ yesterday. He's delusional in my opinion. I use to be the biggest EJ fan ever. I first saw him play in some CONCACAF U17 qualifiers with Santino and Justin Mapp. I was so impressed. EJ had 4 goals that game. His play is just garbage now and everyone knows it. Look at the results up top. It's unanimous so far. I couldn't even come close to getting people to agree about how bad Jeff Agoos was. But with Eddie, everyone is on the same page.

had a great start and we all thought he would be awsome, but faded, not very dangerous though, very quick but never uses it, needs to work a bit harder, great potential

<_< My thoughts on EJ are not extreme he simply needs to train/pratice to improve his game. He plays soccer that is what he chose so until we can see what does happen with him during his time in Europe people should not give up on him.
I have not said he would become the greatest player ever in the world NOT ONCE IN ANY POST. HE JUST NEEDS TIME TO IMPROVE HIS OVERALL GAME he just needs to reach a higher level than he is at right now. >_>

Given EJ is not the best but he does not need to be trashed down with so much disrespect like many have done. What is so wrong in believing that he can improve after a few seasoning in Europe. Two years to improve and see where he is at come WC 2010.

First off, I still respect EJ...a lot. He's a good MLS player and is a lot of fun to watch at times. There's nothing wrong with believing he can improve, just like there's nothing wrong in believing in trolls like Icelanders do. Fine, give him two years to improve, it doesn't mean he should be anywhere near the national team even if he does. You seen to want to hold a spot for him regardless of his form. I don't know if a few seasoning as you put it is going to do him any good at all. If we could go back in time a few seasonings to where he was at during WCQ, then I'd take him. EJ has gotten worse since then.
