Dat pace! He is very underrated, easily top team starting quality, and he still has so much room to grow. I wouldn't let him go ever.
Personally I'd still let him go, either on loan or Carvajal-esque sell with an option to buy. I'd choose carefully what club he goes to though and what their intentions are with him (main striker etc) I still think he is better off getting first team football elsewhere because he certainly won't be getting it here.
He can develop just as well here without being the starting striker IMO. His time will come, these moments are just glimpses to the future.
So let's potentially compromise his development because we might come up against the team he is playing for? Or is there a less ridiculous reason?
I couldn't open the page, i'd appreciate it if you post a link from another site, or just the video's title.
Morata is such a sweet bubba and the camaraderie between these players, established through the cantera or youth sides, is just fantastic. At a "great big club" (remember that episode of Special One TV when SAF called Everton that? ) like this one having teammates and more importantly friends their to empathize and support you is a bonus for these youngsters hopefully they have many, many seasons together.
while it is misleading it does point to the fact that he does make it work w/o needing a lot of time. that right there should be enough to give him rotation.
the context of the situation when comparing to players that are regular 90' players distorts it. still, it shows he can do what he needs with little time.
However you want to twist it is fine but you if someone posted this sort of stat about Benzema you would be gnashing your teeth until they fell out. This is equivalent of magical link up play at the end of the day. No one here loves Morata more than me but that stat, like most, doesn't tell the whole story. If anything his recent goals simply show how right People familiar with the player already knew about him, he simply needed some time to get into a rhythm and he would start banging the goals in and showing his quality. I'm happy for him as he could still play a pivotal role in our run in but that stat? Yeah, not so much.
36 Chambers: Enter the "If this would be Benzema you would...". I can't say how tired i am of this response. Morata is more than capable of playing for us. He's doing quite well in the time he got on the pitch for us, which is what this statistic shows, despite recent comments about how "he hasn't done much when given the chance" from certain people. The stat isn't the definite guy that he would be on top of the pichichi list if he'd start all games, but he has 15 League goals to score in the Primera Division, easy. Certain people even said we should be keeping a look on Alcacer, when there's nothing to show that Morata couldn't do just as well if not better for Valencia.
