I graduated high school a while ago so that wasn't really a problem at all. However, I attended Brown for pre-med for 4 years and I'm planning on going on to the University of Melbourne for further education. Generally, my parents thought this was a bad idea and I don't know much about the University of Melbourne other than that it has a pretty damn good reputation for research and other sorts of things around the world.
