Gone but not Forgotten "COUSIN" Chico, LA BARRA LOVES YOU R.I.P BRO.
Day by day I think of you,
How can all of this be true?
    I can't believe you're really gone,
    I still can't accept it,
    Even after so long.
Just the thought of you makes me cry,
I never even got the chance to say goodbye.
    Every picture, every letter,
I don't know if it will ever get better.
I always smell your familiar scent,
It makes me think of all of the times we've spent.
So many things I never got to say,
I never imagined you'd ever be so far away.
    You were my brother,
And I loved you like no other.
In my heart you'll always be,
You’ll be my guide and help me see.
But now I have to let you rest,
Although without you my world's a mess.
I miss you with all of my heart,
I wish we never had to part.
I know you're always by my side,
So now I guess this is my goodbye...

    Rest in Peace Cousin Chico

Sadness is overwhelmed with the wonderful interconnected memories that my fellow Barra brothers and sisters can share of the tailgates...fishing-trips..road-trips and bar-trips. Chico will never be forgotten and will always be standing with that great 100% harDCore smile each and every game with us all. :(

    Love you Bro!!

Tried a couple times to put thoughts into words, without much success.

So I'll just say, RIP, Chico. Your friendship was the main reason I joined the Barra, and the friendships and relationships I've made through soccer have changed my life for the better 1,000x over. Which in some way, is all owed to Chico.

    Thanks, brother.

Condolences to Chico's family. He was a very friendly & welcoming person everywhere he went. Many people knew him in person or from this forum. He was a kindred spirit as we all could identify with his spin on life & all the great soccer the world has to offer.

You'll be very much missed. RIP, Chico.

I've only been with the Barra for about 5 years and, while Chico and I never spent an enormous amount of time together, he was always the first person to say hello and extend a kind word. He was an integral part of the Barra fabric which I think many of us took for granted, sadly.

    Tonight won't seem right.

Tonight was very difficult to be so far away from my Barra family. I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be mourning the loss of such a wonderful person. Chico was one of the first people I met when I started going to games and I'm at a complete loss right now. I just hope and pray his family finds some kind of peace during this time. Rest in peace, dear Chico. You are so loved!

Chico welcomed Jan and me to Barra Brava many years ago, long before there were many gringos in the group. We'll never forget him.
