ALI GERBA SELECTED BY NATIONAL TEAM MONTREAL – Montreal Impact striker Ali Gerba has been selected by the Canadian National Team to play in the 11th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, from June 5 to June 25, in the United States. “This is a huge honour for me,” said Gerba. “I can’t wait to represent my country in this important championship. I hope to play well and help the national team win.” Gerba will participate in his third Gold Cup after suiting up for Canada in 2007 and 2009. He is the country's all-time leading scorer in this tournament with six goals.
