The shameful thing about the whole incident was after the game, when being interviewed by Sky Sports, John Terry said that he was aware the ball hadn't crossed the goal line. So why didn't you speak up at the time, John, instead of allowing Spurs to be cheated, and then looking all smug about it after the match..? I know.. I know.... it's a big game and players just don't do that sort of thing. Yeah, yeah... JT was being 'professional'..... Bullshine. In my opinion, Terry should be cited for his comments and banned from playing in the final. Whether or not it is naive of me to think that he would be honest enough to tell a referee that he knew the goal shouldn't stand is a moot point. Go on, call me an idealist. I can take it. But to stand in front of the camera, with a big cheesy "Haven't I been a clever boy" grin all over his mug and admit he knew it wasn't a goal, brings the game into disrepute. He should be cited for that, if nothing else. .
So you're saying because he had knowledge, he had to do something about it? Wrong. How about the fans that also knew the ball didn't cross the line and didn't say anything. What's the difference here bud?
