Google has lauched (several months ago) a new email service, and i guess its pretty good. thing is its only in beta production right now so you need an invite. if anyone has one, id like to get ahold of one, so hook a brotha up.
I've had an account for about 3 mos. It's good, like superhotmail. But I use outlook express to access webmail accounts, so I don't actually use it that often. If you want to PM me your e-mail, I'll shoot an invite out to you, but, let's not all get carried away.
yeah, but G mail is "cooooooool". Okay, so there's clearly a cap on how many people you can invite. I can't invite anyone at the moment, so no PMs please. As soon as I can, I'll hollar if it's back open.
Seriously, no. You get about 300 Spam messages a day with Yahoo unless you use the pay version. http://www.everyone.net, granted it's a pay service, but next to nothing gets through that you don't want to.
I don't use the pay and never get spam. Of course, I don't give my e-mail address out to just everyone on the web either.
Neither do I. I've been on a couple of distribution lists but within organizations that you'd never get on their list without being a member. Of course some spam leaks when you're cc:d along with 50 others but I still can't comprehend how much bulk mail I get. I'm a lot more careful now, but everyone.net is fantastic.
I do. That's what Hotmail is for. I get registered at places, Microsoft gets my spam. Everybody wins.
Well, I use Yahoo Mail as my secondary account and I give the address to just about anyone - well, mostly to register to news and porn sites - and I get about 10 spam mails a week, give or take a couple. I think the "Report Junk Mail" function helps a lot; my girlfriend just deletes all the junk emails and she gets considerably more spam than I do.
