The first Grand Tour of the year starts in just a few days. Here's Podium Cafe's preview. Here's to a memorable race. Stage 20, the second to last stage, looks beastly - taking on the Mortirolo and finishing on the Stelvio. Wow.

Some video of TP today http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/05/video/video-phinney-talks-about-his-stage-1-giro-win_216741
I missed the stage today, but it looks like it was a pretty crazy/crash filled ending. Goss takes the stage. Cav and Phinney go down, Phinney looks to have gone down pretty hard and was in an ambulance for a bit, but he does get the finish within the time and thus, still keeps pink. http://cdn0.media.cyclingnews.futurecdn.net/2012/05/07/2/pic277026375_600.jpg looks like blood on TP's shoes. Tomorrow is a rest day, as they move from Denmark to Italy. Team Time Trial on Wednesday.
Cavendish left unimpressed by Ferrari move http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/cavendish-left-unimpressed-by-ferrari-move Video of the finish and the incident (around 8:15) IMHO, Ferrari was a nut case for that change of line.
Cav post crash on stage 3 http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3pp02KTay1qacyk6o1_500.jpg Probably NSFW
