Anyone else worried that with Aaron Lennon's injury Redknapp might try and keep him as insurance (again).

really? I don't understand this

At the moment both Bale and Lennon are out and he's still not playing. Instead of blaming everyone else for this, has anyone actually thought that its because of the way he plays? Bale and Lennon are traditional wingers who beat fullbacks with their pace and get crosses in, but Gio tends to cut in whether he's on the left or right. He may be as skilful or more skillful but he plays a completely different way and It's hard to say whether hes a central playmaker or a winger. You might say he should be backup for Van der Vaart then, playing in the middle off the striker.
But even then I don't think he can play there for Tottenham. Against Shamrock Rovers recently he started as the second striker playing off defoe and was poor, practically invisible. it wasn't until he was moved to the right wing that he could get the ball and do anything.

You are saying the same thing we are saying. He needs to GTFO of Tottenham. Plus, Gio shows that with a little bit of continuity he can be vicious. He showed it with a very poor team at Racing just last season. I have no doubt that if he goes to Sevilla he will shine like crazy. You are right though, Redknapp doesn't like his style and that's ok. He should just let him go.

At Racing he scored five goals in nine games and I'm not sure how many assists he had but I know he had a few.

You better keep looking and post it up here.... :D

But seriously would love to see it.

That last goal was sick. I remember when the gringos were saying that his goal against them was luck and that he wouldn't do it any other time. This goal isn't the same but similar. Gio has serious skill there is no denying it.

I remember when those fools said that. Honestly, I don't think any other fanbase would have said something so stupid. Just them.

man after watching spurs play more often they got some beasts like adebayor and gareth bale that dude is a machine sucks that the coach doesn't give gio more starts he could be a real asset to the team if he got into the rythm, but oh well hopefully he finds a new team that will give him more playing time

Nah, the media always makes up "crucial days" for transfers that usually tend to be way off.

Lol I guess you were right. The only thing I've read about Gio in the past few days is that Tottenham will listen to offers regarding Gio.

I'd rather not see him go to a team with ties to fascists. I'd rather not see him wear the same shirt as the idiot below.
