I said it a few months ago. Gio will leave for free to Spain in a few months. Few teams are going to pay millions in this economy for Gio. Spanish teams are broke, he's gonna have to wait it out.

Gio. By saying how bad he wants to leave, wants spain, yadda yadda he reduces Spurs' leverage in any negotiations for him. He only has a year left so i guess its not as bad as it could be. Same shit RVP just did with Arsenal with that statement he released.

Watch him end up in Valencia, on a free transfer, as part of an increasing Valencia initiative to expand their presence in the Mexican market, in terms of media/retail sales presence and player purchases.

In ten years, los Che become los Güey. From Naranjeros to Frijoleros.

It wouldn't be a bad move. Not only would they get an awesome player but they'd prolly sell a shitload of jerseys (too bad they don't get a cut of the counterfeit/unlicensed ones).

If I owned a team I would corner the counterfeit market too. Just to ******** over counterfeiters.

Oh man i just had a good laugh. Go over to tottenham's website and look at the first team profiles, scroll over to Gio's picture. He has a "Man, F.uck this team" look on his face.

I'm under the impression that he will stay and will have a lot more minutes next season. Spurs are not really making any big signings, their attack looks bleak and Villas-Boas is no Redknapp.

I remember when Henry said that. The "wants" is the key word and he is totally right. Its still in Gio's hands to become a consistent world class player at the club level.

We shouldnt be depressed, we should actually be happy that Gio is finally living up to expectations and proving the doubters wrong. We all knew he could do it, even Henry, and props to Tena for not handing him the starting spot and lighting a fire under his ass. The Olympics are a perfect venue for Gio to showcase his talent and he has not dissapointed with 3 goals and 2 assists in only 2 starts in 5 games. Can you imagine if Gio would have struggled coming off the bench and not EARNED a starting spot? It would have been an epic failure. Now with the opportunity to win gold this is a possible pinnacle so far in Gio's young career.

Not only that, he goes on to call him a "reject of La Masia"

    WTF does that even mean?

He played in all youth teams at Barca, usually while two or three years younger than his counterparts and played a bunch of minutes in his first and only season with the first team.
