What in the hell was that? He just passed the ball right to a Rover player. Besides that horrendous pass, he's playing good IMO.
ive only seen the last 15 min but from that i think hes had an awful game.. i think ive seen him touch the ball once.. and he gave a bad pass
And it shows. Although Spurs have looked dreadful in the second half, they should of been a man down and a penalty against them.
might be a serious case of him not being match fit. Your morale and the coach's belief in your ability go a long way. He hasn't played a full game in the longest.
I didn't watch the game. Did he play a different position in the second half? Was his effort level so strong in the first half that it was unsustainable? Or was he just not match fit?
He was just not match fit. In the first half he even put a good pass to Defoe but was just short of tapping it in. He had a total of 2 bad passes in the first half but it looked like he was playing on the right and switching to centre forward... back and forth. A lot of the attack was going down the left which is why he wasn't as involved. He had some decent plays and passes though.
Tottenham just weren't as good second half, they played well first half and went into half time 3-0 up. They started the second half well, but then Shamrock Rovers went 4-4-2 and started attacking Tottenham more, and Tottenham stopped controlling the game as much, and failed to create many chances. They didn't score a fourth til injury time. They needed five to stand a chance of qualifying from their group.
At least he played, maybe it's why Harry played him a few minutes last time, to get him to get ready & fit for matches, like earlier good matches. Gio now needs to get fit fast and raise his own value.
If Sevilla sign Reyes the Gio thing is off, so lets hope that Sevilla doesn't swoop up Reyes even though they claim they have made an "agreement" already
This looks different than past negotiations. Tottenham and Sevilla have agreed on a price. Now Gio has to negotiate contract terms.
Sevilla supposedly submitted a bid for disgruntled Atletico winger Jose Antonio Reyes. If they get him, chances of Sevilla trying to go for Gio are slim to none.
Agreed. This has to be for reals because gios contract has to be done pretty soon and tottenham is running out of time to salvage any money from gio.
