Ya se armo! Now he needs to get healthy and earn his keep. If he doesn't this will be a rough story in terms of club play. I'm glad he has a fresh start and new opportunity. Healthy, he has all the tools to be even better.
Good news. I can't imagine Gio not getting lots of playing time a Mallorca. Some of us might have wanted him to stay a Tottenham, overcome adversity and wallpaper over those years of anonymity with success but.... It's like a wise man once said, when life gives you lemons just say f*** the lemons and bail. Here's hoping he has a successful first season.
Super excited for the G man ....anything is better then wasting his talent on the Spuds bench. Even if Mallorca is ehh... Another reason to watch La Liga....yeah!!
Holy shit wasn't expecting this. Was Gio even linked with Mallorca? In any case, I'm happy he finally got the ******** out of Tottenham. He'll be at a big club soon enough. He was linked to Mallorca and Malaga https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...pur-f-c-vol-x-r.1845490/page-66#post-26370347
Some key match dates: Sep 23rd, Feb 17 vs Valencia Oc 28, Mar 17 vs Real Madrid Nov 11, Apr 7 vs Barcelona Jan 20 vs Espanyol Feb 3 vs Real Sociedad Now let's just hope some of these are on tv.
You can tell Gio is happy. Did you guys see his twitter account? He got rid of tottencrap from his profile ASAP. Giovani Dos Santos @OficialGio Jugador de Futbol del RCD Mallorca y de la Selección Mexicana And Mallorca currently sits at 7th in La Liga with more points than Real madrid and Valencia
Why sign on for 4 years? I think he did not learn from his mistakes. Should have just signed a two year deal or just stayed at Spurs for his last year then signed wherever he wanted next year. Really disappointed he did not give AVB and Spurs a chance this year. He basically closed that off early on by saying either sell me or lose me on free in one year.
8th place last season, 6th place this season, will be competing for that position, doesn't seem like a very shitty team to me.
Wooooooo thank god he left. Saw this on goal.com and I was like "omg". I can't wait to see what he brings here.
