I've just met three amazing players (one a goalkeeper/agent), one who's played in the 3rd division Bundesliga and could easily play higher and another who played in Greece.

Their agent (who practices with them as a goalkeeper) wants to send out their info to as many clubs as possible and had his eye on the J-League. While I am going to Japan, I don't have any connections with the J-League. However, he wants to use me as a 'go-between' because I speak Japanese.

How would one go about talking to coaches and sending videos? Should I just go to the team's official site and look for contacts? Their agent handles everything else but, being a language he doesn't understand, he doesn't know how to get 'in'.

Third division German league is not that good. I don't think they can make it in the J league or the MLS.

I thought the same, but his agent said that this was in the past and he's been contacted by multiple MLS teams as well as a 1st division Bundesliga team (I don't know which one, and he's not sure how serious they are).

If anything, he's looking for the J2 or even as low as the JFL. I'm don't think he's pressing for the J1. He's really just trying to get their name out there and had previously given up on Japan due to the language barrier.

I had a 3rd division German player try out for my club team in the 80's. He didnt make it. He was a big tall defensive mid. That was the body type of the player I looked for as a defensive mid back then.

I am sure a 3rd division Bundesliga player would do fine in the MLS, just look at Craig Rocastle. He was a youth at Chelsea, went all the way down the the Conference in non-league and yet he went to the MLS and was one of the better players.
