He should go to a situation of getting guaranteed playing time. His entire career has been stagnated because of going to Hoffenheim, he has added almost nothing to his game that is clearly discernible. Don't call me out on that.
It's bewildering to me that Joe was of the opinion in that article that the SAME TEAM that won't let an ultra talented player like Fabian Johnson play in the midfield (and sometimes doesn't even give him a full 90 at LB), would give him (Joe Gyau) minutes in midfield.
I can't find a dedicated thread for him, but Caleb Stanko went 90 minutes for SC Freiburg II against Gyau and Co. http://www.scfreiburg.com/teams/sc-freiburg-ii/meldungen/sc-ii-siegt-21-bei-hoffenheim-ii
I knew there were some RL Yanks I was missing. https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/caleb-stanko-to-sc-freiburg.1765812/
Gyau starts again for Hoffenheim II last week: http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...acht-trier/tsg-1899-hoffenheim-ev-ii/1505952/
Can kiss his chances for this world cup good bye if he doesnt get loaned or plays first team min for hoffenheim soon.
Trying to make the World Cup should be the last thing on his mind right now. He's not a potential regular like Edu or Parkhurst who is struggling for minutes at his club who should think about a loan to keep himself in the picture. He's not in the picture at all. He needs to get minutes for his career's sake, not just national team dreams.
He just got to keep at it like any other young players. Same with B.Span those two need a fresh start or keep pushing themselves within their club.
He never was in the picture, he wasnt even an everyday starter for BL2 team, not sure why he gets so much mention on this site in terms of a possible callup
Gyau scored a goal in Hoff II's 3-0 victory last weekend. http://www.achtzehn99.de/u23-tankt-mit-3-0-in-pfullendorf-selbstvertrauen/
I wonder if he's in the squad for today's cup game. It'd be nice to see guys like him and Toljan get a run out.
Doubtful. German teams take the Cup pretty seriously. If he is not making the squad during league games he will not here.
Another start for Gyau: http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...sen-kassel/tsg-1899-hoffenheim-ev-ii/1505927/
He, B.Span, and S.Lleget all three must find a new home come January. Would love to see them play in the MLS and be top players for their team.If not find another European team willing to give them a chance to play first team football/soccer. They all got good potential got I find more playing time soon at a higher level.
Scored a goal for the U-23 team against KSV Baunatal on Sunday. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...899-hoffenheim-ii-5464_ksv-baunatal-4414.html
