Has Eduardo finally settled then in a new country?

Hows Veloso been....has he dropped a few pounds? he definatly has the raw technical ability, but his mobility was always questioned.

One of the most pathetic and blatant match-fixing attempts I've ever witnessed.

Thank God Boselli isn't Italian and doesn't speak the language.

Emiliano Viviano on his way to Genoa?

If so, make that move before Roma unloads Doni.

And so the Alberto Malesani era begins.

Buon giorno, 3-4-3; vaya con dios, Criscito.

Let's hope not...we are already dismantling the team, with a shit coach like Malesani I don't really see how we can avoid relegation.

I'm not going to worry about relegation yet, but I've given up on any illusions of European football anytime soon.

The only thing worse than Inter raiding Genoa's roster is Inter turning their nose up to Genoa's roster.

Malesani has promised attacking football. We'll see if Preziosi gives him the pieces to deliver.

Preziosi couldn't care less about winning...he just needs Genoa to stay in Serie A (preferably out of Europe, which is a "hassle" - his words - and requires competitive squads) so that he can do his shady deals with Berlusconi, Moratti and the likes (gives them players for low fees, gets discounts/favors for his parent company) and develop connections with other businessmen. Football clubs are also a great mean for exporting capital abroad.

Genoa have enough players to fill 3 rosters

The problem is, two of those rosters would get relegated.

There isn't one spot in the top XI which could not use a significant upgrade.

With Inter on the decline and their best pieces about to be salvaged by English clubs, and a less than intimidating Milan, this coming season could be one for a smaller club to slip into the top 3 or 4.

I know he was a flop, but with 3 forwards, I would not mind using Macheda. Get him cheap and plug him in. Promise him Prandelli is watching or something.

if im an italian team who is serious about being competitive , NOW IS THE TIME.
milan is the best but they are only strong relatively, inter are in shambles, juve are weak, roma has a new coach and will likely take some time to adjust, udinese will be selling everyone, napoli needs more defense...
hold your players for a year and make a run genoa !

Genoa's owner wants the club to be a feeder club to the other teams...

Milan have bought out Genoa's co-ownership of Boateng and Paloschi.

Stephan El Shaarawy set to join Milan on loan as well.

And this. I've heard somewhere Genoa might be interested in Mutu?
