So Luca Toni, who is making 4m net a year (!!! Stupidest deal we've made in the last decade) for standing in the opponent's box like a pole and elbowing opponents in goofy attempts to get to the ball (he surely is the league leader in fouls committed), got offended by Preziosi's comments on his abysmal performances and now wants to leave...man, let's hope it happens. ******** off to Giuve or Milan, we don't even want a refund. We got rid of Modesto and Palladino (about time) and got Paloschi (meh...better than nothing...as long as we don't make any trades with Milan involving the Boateng's half we still own) and Antonelli (which means Criscito is leaving...if the rumored fees - 15m - are true, I'll personally take him to St. Petersburg or wherever). We then bought a bunch of youngsters from Slovenia, Portugal and Sweden (let's hope Ballardini gives them a chance...they can't possibily be worse than Mesto or Destro) and are trying to buy a Slovak midfielder from Sparta Praga, Kucka...we surely need reinforcements in that department...I'm fine with anyone as long as the 35-year old Strasser stays in Milan. And let's hope that with the money we made from Ranocchia and in the summer market we get a top trequartista.
We made a profit from Boateng too. Bought him at 5, will sell him at about 10. Preziosi is a merchant who uses the club to strengthen his political connections but he isn't an idiot...he seldom sells players at a loss.
For some reason I always thought you got that money from Milan with the understanding he'd be loaned there. No idea where I got that from. Strange piece of business either way. Was he aware of this whole thing when he signed?
This is what happened with Boateng: - we loaned Vandenborre to Portsmouth - they went into financial trouble and couldn't pay the loan fee - we waived their fee and got an option clause on Boateng (right before the WC) - we took advantage of the clause and bought him for a relatively low price - Gasperini said he didn't want him, as he thought he was a winger and he thought Palacio and Sculli (********) were better alternatives - Preziosi then started whoring him out hoping to recoup the money he invested - We originally sold him to Lazio but Boateng refused as the salary offered was too low - He was then loaned to Milan - Milan were impressed by his performances and decided to buy him outright...one half last summer, the other half in the winter or next summer. The shady deal with Milan was the one involving Papastathopoulos, Amelia, and a bunch of youngsters (Strasser, Beretta, Zigoni, Oduamadi).
Mauro Boselli? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...igans-Mauro-Boselli-wanted-Genoa-January.html Deeply ashamed Genoa missed out on Macheda.
Over an 8mm muscle tear. That's like 2 weeks of aggressive treatment to solve. I think they're trying to squeeze better terms from the desperate English club.
Preziosi is very busy. Now it's Ze Eduardo. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/3296...als-santos-striker-ze-eduardo-will-join-genoa Still sad there will be no Macheda. Epic LOL at Toni immediately injuring himself with Juve.
