Well I dont have much of a problem with it. Most teams in the Europa League dont put their best teams out there. You got to hope the other clubs in your group are doing that as well.

Marseille are totally outplaying Nancy but wasted a lot of scoring chances, for now.

Remy will solve the insecurity problematic at Marseille.

Just watching the game... Andre Ayew just saw a yellow card for an inch perfect tackle, which was absolutely brilliant, well-timed and entirely for the ball...

Still deservedly behind 2:0... looks like the 100% record is over.

yep, in the last five vs valenciennes you have yet to get all 3 points, in fact I think you haven't won at their stadium since 08'
makes for a good atmosphere though, next week OM vs PSG

Not a good result. Hopefully they got it out of their system and were just looking past it to PSG. Obviously L'OM have to play much better Sunday or it will get ugly. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I will be travelling to Marseille in November and getting to the Velodrome is of course a priority. If anyone could give me advice on getting tickets it would be greatly appreciated.

That was a nice win over a tough team. I got worried when they were down 0-1 but they got it done. I think the game was closer than the score indicated. I was impressed with Lucas Mendes and he needs to become permanent and send Morel to the bench. Some kind named Baptiste Aloé played and I never heard of him. I loved that sweet shot Gignac had that hit the post. That was a beautiful miss lol.

Cameroon eliminated by Cape Verde and will miss the African Cup of Nations means we'll get to keep N'Koulou home to the whole season. Hopefully Central African Republic can gives us a hand and eliminate Burkina Faso later tonight.

Souley Diawara is close to coming back as well. It will be interesting to see what kind of level he can give.

Burkina scores in the 97th minute to qualify, fix was in. On the positive side Lorient will miss Traore more than we will miss Kabore, could be positive if we are fighting for a top 3 finish.

more to the point is the comparison of how much you will miss kabore and we will miss kone... i don't see les merlus challenging anyone for a podium spot.

Gignac out six weeks with a fracture. Well it was fun while it lasted, unless Remy improves on his "need 15 clear chances to perhaps score a goal"-form I guess this is the beginning of the end.

It was fun while it lasted.

SIGH. I'm going to be in Marseille for 3 weeks soon and I won't be seeing Gignac at all now.

It's taking a little longer than expected, but give it a little more time, Loic will be back. A nice boost from Deschamps for Italy wouldn't be a surprise either.

They were up 2-1 and kept pressing and attacking. They needed to sit back and relax and they didnt and it cost them.

Was at the match my first visit to the Veledrome. Good atmoshphere even though it wasn't near full being Europa. Very frustating end. I think Marseile were far the better team but made one horrible mistake and then shut off too early. Don't agree about pressing the attack too much at 2-1. A third would have killed it off and with better finishing they would have. I'm going again Sunday against Nice and hoping for better.
