Dechamps gone, budget slashed, no players coming in but no players sold yet either.

I'm surprised that our best players haven't made transfer requests. OM management is hoping for another mid table season. They could've tried to hire Blanc, but he would expect atleast a decent amount of spending on transfers, so they hired Baup.

Hell no. Gignac will be the savior.

Well whoever the savior turns out to be...as long as we finish in the top 6, I would care less who it is.

Brandao shipped off on a free transfer, not a second too soon.

As for this season, I think it will be a rough ride, the starting eleven is good but there is more or less zero depth so even if I'm no fan of Baup he doesn't really have anything to work with, the bench/squad players are not good enough to make to much of an impact so all he can do is pretty much play the natural starters and hope nobody gets injured. If we stay mostly injury-free I think we can challenge top 5, if we have a injury-ridden season then all bets are off.

Best performance of the season so far, Gignac keeps on scoring and the defense looked pretty solid, should have scored atleast one more but Remy squandered his chance late. Can Baup/Gignac lead us to the promised land?

I really would love if Baup could but the problem/s will start once we get by any injuries: we're thin in terms of depth as it is, especially now that Azpilicueta and M'Bia have left. I reckon we may have to sacrifice the cups and the EL. No?

i'm glad gignac is doing good.... i was dissapointed at how badly he performed and was treated last season.. glad he stuck through it and continued .. these performances should motivate him...

he has always dreamed of playing for marseille and it will be dream come true if he performs consistently

No you cant, sorry. France needs the points. Its embarassing to fall behind Portugal and hopefully OM fans feel that way too. Sacrifice the cups if you must.

Theres going to be some lineup problems. You have to find a way to accomodate Remy and play 4-4-2 or use him as a winger I guess. He was on the bench to start this one but you know he has to be starting.

Remy is just coming back from a injury, so he didn't start. Remy is a very versatile; he will fit in just about anywhere.

    apparently not.
