Here's a couple more i saw while i was over there.......... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFw-37oRLSU"]Happy Feet[/ame] Saw this at the movies. No doubt one of the best, if not the best PG animated movie i have ever seen. But only the Spanish (not Castellano or English) version. I've tried to watch it in both Castellano and English, but it's just not as good. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl5WHj0bZ2Q"]Casino Royale[/ame] Also saw this at the movies. I was never really into Bond (grew up in the Pierce Brosnan era) but i've gotten into it now with the new direction they've taken. Didn't really appreciate this the first time i saw it as we went to watch it at around 11pm (had nothing else to do) and it just felt like it dragged on and on. But after watching it a second time, i have to say it really is a good film.
Here's a few more PG animated films i've enjoyed in the past.......... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNFs_sESJEc"]Aladdin[/ame] As far as i can recall, this was the first ever movie i saw at the theatre. Went on a school excursion with my class to go see it. To this day i still enjoy it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNtbZf0JhmA"]The Lion King[/ame] Classic! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsvaFxkXrbg"]Ice Age[/ame] I really liked it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPzCyBS7mK0"]The Prince Of Egypt[/ame] Great film.
Here's a few more animated films that i've enjoyed that target an older audience.......... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTwzHYZBWYI"]Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within[/ame] Great film, which expresses a great message. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYnciEGup9k"]Blood: The Last Vampire[/ame] Saw this a long time ago but i remember it being pretty good. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5KWuNZwxYI"]Animatrix[/ame] Again, i don't really remember it, but i do recall thinking it was good. Should really try and watch it again soon though.
terrible movie. great way to show the world the mayan culture, they had astronomy but we show the world how they beat the crap out of each other. as far as i know, the aztecs and the olmecs were the empire cultures, mayas were friendly people, very pacifist. mel gibson is an idiot.
I knew I sensed some anti-American resentment in you jk... anyway I was intrigued by your posted vid, I gotta say it makes too much sense not to at least look at it. Unfortunately this will go on unresolved and no one will ever do anything to Bush and his Boss Dick Cheney, it really angers me to see how many lives were lost that day and every day since due to this farse, not only Americans but from innocent people all over the world.
i dont like chavez but it was the only way of stop the rich from getting richer and the poor from getting poorer, but i do belive chavez is still an idiot.
I agree, I just dont think there is any real "fair" system, in order to have winners you have to have losers. I just don't think human nature allows people to share everything equally and have someone tell them what they can and can't have. Having said that, I imperialism and capitalism = evil!!!
i cant really speak for venezuela and i dont think this the right thread to talk about el salvador problems. the thing is. france had a "revolution" where they killed all the "corrupt" aristocracy. chavez and fidel did something similar, prob not the best way to do it. "capitalism" can be good but there is limits, those limits have been passed in some countries. when you have about 80% of the population poor and uneducated, then "capitalism" is not working, you have to use a different type of government. crap this is why we have the 3rd world, you have like 1% of super rich, about 5% middle class, and the rest are poor, absolutely evil.
Here's some of my opinions on this years Oscar (and Razzie) winners....... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hn5-pxWM6k"]The Blind Side[/ame] Good movie, i liked it. It's actually the only Oscar winner that i've seen (apart from Avatar and Star Trek which i've previously commented on). I've also been meaning to see the Hurt Locker, Precious and Up but i just haven't gotten a chance. As for the Razzies....... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maPFhlFfJG8"]Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen[/ame] Credit to them on the special effects, but that's about were it ends. Horrible movie. It's a disgrace to the original animated series; as is the original (to a lesser extent). [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdvMpL4wtMg"]G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra[/ame] Pretty bad. That said, if there's nothing else on and your into action then it might be worth watching.
I'm a fan of a few of Rodriguez' movies and enjoyed Planet Terror but i don't know about this one. I saw the teaser trailer for it a long time ago and i didn't think it was anything special. I'll still probably end up watching it though.
That Machete movie looks AWSOME! Danny Trejo is always fun to see. My friend told me about this movie, looks like a great story line. The Stoning of Soraya [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asH9sUD0A-s"]YouTube- THE STONING OF SORAYA M. - Official Trailer[/ame] >UNO<

Can honestly say i'd never heard about this film until just now, looks real interesting though. Thanks for sharing.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WgklaS8B_M"]YouTube- The Two Escobars[/ame] I saw this on ESPN Deportes last night (It's part of ESPN's 30 for 30 Documentaries, they have made/make excellent documentries) Very intense...It's cool to see the highlights of that exciting Colombia team and how they were connected to the problems in the country at the time. Recommend it.
