I was part of the 1600 score generation. Verbal and math. Go home get drunk and stress about the result with everyone else that suffered with you.

    Can we keep on topic?

I actually really love those Pink Puma boots - they got the colours spot on with those. It's also a bonus that some of the money goes towards breast cancer.

That "pepto" pink looks pretty good on the boots.

Is it alright to play with boots like pantos or morelias on artificial grass? I mean will the leather get ruined or something?

Yes. But no more so than any other boot.

Its not really the best upper to play with on turf, I used to wear my world cups on 3G turf and thats when they started to get ruined - my advice would be that if they are your best boots and are fairly new, don't risk it just but some cheap AG trainers to train in and save those boots for your games. If they are old go for it because it will start to show slightly especially if they are white.

Sorry! Sorry! COPAS! I have never owned a pair of WCs I don't know why I put that - lol

Either way, the leather boots do take a bit of a beating on AG turf.

Question for all you boot lovers. Is it only me who thinks it's easier to control a ball with heavier boots? If this catches on we could well see lead control elements on the new ctr....... hmmmm

I think it's easier to control a ball when I'm barefoot.

I prefer a thinner upper to be honest, but then again I like to feel the ball on my foot. At the end of the day its my foot though, doesn't really matter what i have on my feet because its a basic technique i should have in my locker!

I get what you're saying, and I agree somewhat. But I think it has more to do with the upper material more than the weight itself. Thick leather is a lot more forgiving than a super thin Sprint Skin type synthetic.
