So i just got my Umbro Speciali A Italy and the sizing is really weird. What i thought was a 40Euro/7us like advertised on the website ended up being a 39.5/7us, .5 smaller then my usual size. when i put them on in game socks the is almost no space at the forefoot literally like half of a finger nail. i just played with them for the second time last night and i feel alot of pressure on the side of my big toe, especially when i run and cut. its kinda like im hitting the tip of the shoe. So my question is, do you think this feeling will go away while the boot stretches or is there no hope for me?

I have these boots. The ones with the fold over tongue right? Not the velcro tongue ones ( I had those too though, they fit small). I found them a little tight at first but they stretch a lot. Great boots I think!

Ah I've remembered there are more specialis as well. It's the 2001 and 2004 ones I have. 2001( black with white sole, black studs) stretch to fit me really well. 2004 (completely covered laces like F50+) were a little smaller, no so much stretching. Don't have the 2009/2010 ones if those are what you have! Sorry for a rambling, probably useless post!

Yes those are the ones that stretched well for me! I had a similar feeling to you, was uncomfortable for maybe 2 wears I think. Haven't worn anything else since I got them. Really great boots I think. Hopefully they'll mould to your feet soon!

Hahaha... I don't know if you know butters0154, but p-nutz is female. You kept referring to her as dude, man etc (unless that's how you refer to everyone).

I made the same mistake before too. ;P

The Hummel old school stars I ordered the other day turned up earlier, had to send them back for an exchange because they seem to run pretty big though. They seem decent enough, full K-leather, decent stitching and a nice flexible sole, the foldover tongue was a little stiff but for £28 i cant really complain, think they'll soften up nicely and be a real comfy pair of boots after a few wears.

Just-Keepers, i usually wear a size 7.5 but they were pretty big on me, a 7 probably would've been a decent fit but i decided to go for a 6.5 and hope they'll stretch out a bit. For £28 i'm willing to give them hot water abuse to try and force it to happen if they're a bit tight.

General question: Does anyone have any thought on the most-durable boots for 3G turf?

Would you go on how the upper is attached to the sole eg: riveted and stitched would be more durable than cemented or injected?

Bought these at the thrift store today for $7, came without studs which I got for free (...) at Dick's. They're the Diadora Attiva SG, but I can't seem to find them in SG anywhere else and I'm not even sure if their the top model or if the second or third, so I just wanted know what anyone knew about them. Type of leather and their price right now would be nice to know!

AdiZeros were the more durable for me personally. The upper lasted me fantastically well.

Yes, Adidas did produce them. You can't buy them anymore as they are like 6 years old. If brand new, maybe 100+ depending on colour. Used, $50 depending on condition.

Going to london in a couple of weeks, but I guess the CTR III won't be out by then? Any stores in london that sell Mizuno Morelia Neo (or just regular Morelias)? Thinking about getting those, leather Evospeed, Pred LZ or Puma King SL. What do you think?
