I had been double knotting my laces for a while, especially oval laces. I like that the double knot keeps them tied but it's kind of bulky, especially with lace covers/fold-over tongues. I saw this video on how tie your shoe laces using the "strong" form of the bow knot, which is slightly different from the way I was taught to tie my laces. I've been using a single "strong" knot as shown in the video and it does seem to work very well.

Legend then Mystic. Legend has Kangaroo leather forefoot, Mystic is full grain leather.

Can't help you there I'm afraid, have never owned Tiempo mytics. Have the Legend II and they are a great boot, very durable for me, but that's not really an indicator of how the Legend IV will perform.

I'd recommend going to a shop, even if just to get the boots in your hands. Should give a fairly good idea of build quality.

My review of the Umbro Speciali 3's:

For any former adipure connoisseurs that are turned off by the lack of "pureness" in the 11pro's I highly recommend trying out the Umbro Speciali 3's.

They are great boots. The combination rounded/bladed studs offers great traction on grass of all conditions and especially on turf. They are built really solid and will definitely last at least the entire season.

The leather is a little different from the adipure line. Not in a bad way though. I found that it stretched a little less and was backed by a little more cushioning. For me they only took 2 practice sessions until they had completely molded to my foot and the leather had softened up quite a bit. The comfort level of these boot is like none I have ever experienced. I should note that I do switch out my insoles for sofsole running insoles. Also, if you're "one of those people" who is concerned about mass of the boots (really? still?) the speciali is only 9.2oz as well. Perfect mass in my opinion.

If you are in the market for a new pair of leather boots, want a boot that performs on all surfaces, don't want to deal with the stud pressure of tiempos or lack of k-leather in 11pros, definitely consider the Speciali 3's. They are great and cheap!

That's what a lot of people have told me about the legend IV's, especially when playing on turf. I cannot say I have actually tried them though. The elites obviously wouldn't have any stud pressure but they are a little out of my price range.

The shooting with them is great too. The tongue has a strip of memory foam through it that offers great cushioning. The way they did the asymmetrical lacing makes a really clean shooting surface. The k-leather offers just the right amount of feel/cushion too so you can feel how your foot it striking the ball.

They don't really have any "control" or "power" elements if that's what your looking for, including "pad" on the instep. It doesn't really do anything. But I don't think those are really needed anyway.

So between tiempo legend, adipure and soecili 3..... Which would be the best for a fullback like me that likes to go up and take long shots

I would say that if you can afford the legend elite's go with them. Otherwise I'd go with either an adipure IV or the Speciali 3.

Not elite, the tiempo legends, not tiempo legends elite.... With tiempo legends IV vs speciali 3 vs adipure IV? In value as well as total overall performance

Hmmm. That's really down to a matter of personal preference. In terms of maximum value and performance I'd look for a pair of adipure IV's on sale. I saw some on sale a couple weeks ago for $70.

70? Isn't that a little cheap for a first grade boot? Buy it might be possible since its been in the market for quite a while.....

Because the more expensive the boot is, the better it is.

$70 is a fine price for a top of the line boot. Would you want it more if it cost $210?
