little to no changes to mls playoff format imho in 2013. no change to unbalanced schedule either is expected. expect the home/away games to be switched around in cascadia.

I'm expecting Garber to announce that some band I've never heard of will play at MLS Cup halftime.

In Cascadia? How about everywhere. That's been the announced plan all along. Cascadia won't even get a mention if the schedule comes up.

But the assumption that the league website will offer a live stream of the State of the League conference call, as has been done in some previous years, may prove incorrect in 2012. Perhaps they'll post a transcript when it is over.

I'm not certain of that translation, and I haven't seen anything from English media yet.

2016 is a realistic date for the expansion to NY.
