I'm tired of being patient with Pinto.

What do the two forwards have to work out? If you know how to play up top you know how to play up top. It should be Falcao and Renteria. You have to get respect for being a starter on one of the two highest profile teams in Argentina. The pressure that he has had to endure plus his ability to bounce back from 2 major injuries should be taken into account.

Christian Zapata on the bench? What do you have to do to play on this team. He's captain of his Serie A team and was wanted by Juventus.

Carlos Sanchez does not get respect for winning a starting spot in France? Amaya gets more respect for getting bounced out of the Sudamericana by a Millos team that can't win a league game to save their lives?

The guys that he said he needed to give a chance to after the Copa America were: Falcao, Christian Zapata, Guarin, and Bustos and none of them are starters in the 1st friendly after the Copa America.

I don't give a damn about Pinto trying out new schemes or different guys. Thats just an excuse right now for the line up he has chosen to start against Peru. Look at the team he took to Copa America. Rodallega, Vargas and Banguero starting I would have never thought that IRC and Yepes would have such bad Copas but thinking about it Yepes coming of an injury and IRC not playing. Pinto should have the time to think about these things, it his job! And I cant keep up on players like that I have a job to.

Even as the visiting team to give other teams this much respect is crap. Are we saying we cant win away against Peru? Lets play counters all game. Fellas if Pinto does'nt think that we can go to Peru and play an outstanding, attacking, futbol game............. well where are we really in South America. Some of you say 3rd on paper. But no going there to kick the shit out of a decent Peru team doesn't say much about us or our confidence. I hate Pinto. I hope theres a different line up out there on Saturday.

Even if I agreed that we had to play defensive (which I don't), Zapata and Sanchez are defensive minded players. If you wanted to field your strongest defensive team wouldn't you want to field your best defensive midfielder(s) and a center back that has won the captaincy at a team that plays in a country known for producing the best defenses?

The secret to Team Pinto's success or failure is all on the midfield.
The defense seems to be solid enough, with Velez, Aquivaldo, Zapata / Mosquera, etc..
The forwards are as good as we can have: Renteria, Falcao.. the big problem is the creative midfield.. Chitiva is injured, McNelly can't carry the team on his own and he needs a partner.. but who?
Angustias Hernandez? David Ferreira? Quien?

Without a good creative midfield we are not going to score goals consistently..
Ringo Amaya is not very good on the attack (and not that great defending either), and Anchico not consistent enough when he goes on the attack..
In Mexico's game Pinto's team had to rely on Velez to attack on the left, because there was nothing going on in the midfield!

hombe men, esa formacion da es pena. Pinto tiene los ojos tapados de ************ y no creo que cambie, pero guardo la esperanza y lo mejor para el equipo seria que pierda estos dos amistosos, asi pinto no se convensa de que tiene un buen "equipo".

pero como va a cambiar? lleva 20 torneos en CR, peru y el campeonato con Cucuta jugando a los mismo
con cucuta metia un gol y se acababa el partido, con 7 murcielagos colgados de los 3 palos....

visca, como recuerdan a Pinto en peru? como buen DT o un estratega defensivo? como ven el juego en tus foros, con triunfalismo?

Un muy buen tecnico. Disciplinado y ordenado. Saco a Alianza campeon despues de 18 años Y ojo q ese equipo de Alianza no era para nada defensivo. Se iba para adelante.

Tenemos con q ganar adelante, obvio. Las mejores armas son nuestros delanteros. Nuestro gran problema es el mediocampo, donde se gana la pelota. No tenemos gente ahi, tanto asi q Solano, un jugador ofensivo, haria dupla con Jayo en la volante central. Nuestra defensa a mejorado bastante con el punto mas debil siendo el lateral derecho. Va a ser un buen partido.

ayer el ojitos mesa, DT, decia que el viene muy bien y se esta adaptando a los movimientos rapidos que el pretende en Pachuca
que rey venia de un sistema muy lento, de todas formas en los pocos minutos el miecoles vs tigres del tolo, se comio una como el Monumental!

Prefiero ver a Colombia perder jugando bien que ganar 1-0 jugando horrible como lo hicimos con Mexico.. los planteamientos de Pinto funcionan cuando estamos jugando contra equipos inferiores, pero cuando enfrentamos equipos bien armados es un fracaso total.

Y para todos aquellos que dicen que el tecnico no tiene la culpa, como explicarse lo de Millos?

En el entrenamiento de ayer, el técnico Jorge Luis Pinto dejó ver una probable formación para este fogueo, la cual tendría a en el arco a

Róbinson Zapata;
Gerardo Vallejo, Aquivaldo Mosquera, Amaranto Perea y Estiven Vélez;
José Amaya, Jaime Castrillón, Fredy Guarín y Javier Araujo;
Wason Rentería y Dayro Moreno.

Sin embargo, ayer en la tarde arribaron los últimos tres hombres: Radamel Falcao, Rubén Bustos y Andrés Chitiva, quienes entrenarán hoy para conocer en definitiva si el equipo tendría más modificaciones.

Al respecto, Pinto comentó que la nómina anteriormente mencionada tiene una base de un sesenta o setenta por ciento de la que encarará los amistosos: “Estoy muy contento porque pudimos hacer fútbol, diseñamos conceptos tácticos y colectivos con esta nómina, la cual puede ser la base para los partidos que tenemos en Lima y en Bogotá” aseguró el estratega.

I also think that Peru has good attacking players but so do most teams in SA, right? IMO I think Colombia should try to control the tempo, hold the ball and always go for the win.

Peru is very tricky. I like the way that they play the game, great touch and great tempo. I'm surprised that Farfan isn't starting. That guy is legit. Pizzaro and Guerrero up top are on paper one of the best forward pairings in South America. Nobby Solano is old but he is good. Their counter attack is pretty good when they have Farfan, Guerrero, and Pizarro coming at you.

Farfan is injured and has just recovered from it. He stayed with PSV.

I think we have a better attack than most of the teams, except Argentina and Brazil of course. Maybe Uruguay at their best. The problem is that having one of the best attacks doesn't mean anything if the players can't gel together, which is our big problem. We can't play as a team if our lifes depended on it.

Por que Pinto no llama a Ferreira? De esa caca de seleccion que llevamos a la CA es el unico que medio se salva...el y Castrillon.

Si la teoria es que Ferreira es fijo por lo tanto Pinto no tiene que verlo mas, entonces me cago del miedo porque la teoria podria ser la misma con el amigo Hugo Rodallega
