The G-8 has been moved out of Chicago and into Camp David. As far as Im concerned thats not far enough. That lot should feel safe nowhere less isolated than Diego Garcia.

We Chicagoans didnt want anything to do with it. It was being used to enact new anti-first amendment regulations with stupid fines. They were going to deputize and immunize from personal liability private security goons. Frankly, we didnt want our police forced to be what police in these adversarial circumstances turn out to be. Good riddance to bad banker rubbish. Who wants to be responsible for protecting that lot from the righteous indignation of the mortal mass?

Rahm Emmanual (AKA, Yid-vicious) hasnt been willing to divulge much of anything to the City Council. lap dogs though they be. No financial details were ever presented. All he said was 'private interests' would pay for it. We were even going to have to pay Morgan Stanley tribute for daring to take parking meters out of commission.

RAUS! Now, we need to send NATO packing as well.

Congratulations. The G-20 in Pittsburgh was a zoo a couple years back. And I'm not speaking of the demonstrations, which were far, far less irritating than road closures, altered public transportation routes, police-state levels of "security" in places nowhere near the actual summit, and the like.

I was looking forward to the spectacle. Have the Chicago ordinances granting the police increased powers already been passed? If so, will they be rescinded?

Good news the other day about the Illinois law that prohibits the taping of police being found unconstitutional.

They passed and wont be rescinded. Emmanual has, so far, been a massive mistake.
