Well City sure took care of that right away didn't they? No need to wait for the Everton game, dropped 2 points today.

Daniel Alves was nowhere to be found on the Bale goal. It won't surprise me if Maicon is the permanent starter after game 2 or 3. Garbage defending and Garbage crosses.

Well I'm sure that Tata will be gone and hopefully we will win the appeal so we can at least get a decent goalie and defender!! And the man I expect to replace him if he has a successful World Cup is Scolari! !

    All of this.. lol NO.

Tata has already said he's going to quit after the season.

Your appeal doesn't look good aside them MAYBE letting you get Ter Stegen since Valdes is out with a 6 month injury, even though imo he isn't a Barce player anymore since he will let his contract run out on them.

Scolari as the coach of Barce... lets think about that for a minute. lolNever

Gotdamn you C. Azul!! Stop poking holes in all my plans!! :p

Crazy as it may sounds Scolari would make a good coach for Barcelona! ! He will sort out all of our defensive problems and will bring some sort of stability to our team!

Barcelona is a team built on a certain system.. Tata failed to adapt to it, and look at where they are right now. As everyone has been saying this past month, Barce's next coach will be a coach who knows Barce's system well.. Luis Enrique de Celta comes to mind, Paco Jemez is another guy that runs a similar possession based style.. Rudi Garcia of Roma seems to be a name floating around aswell.

lol Scolari not built to coach in a league setting.

There's really no excuse for them not to win the league this year; not Pellegrini's finest coaching. Both we and Liverpool control our own destiny - whoever wins at Anfield most likely wins the league. Should be interesting!

Javier Hernandez could be set for Atletico Madrid, some superb transfer business by Atletico if true.
Sell Costa to Chelsea, keep Courtois, and bring in Hernandez who is just as deadly in the box, quicker, and has a similar workrate.

Atletico are proven to get the best out of their strikers. A settled Hernandez with regular playing time would be a 20goal + per season striker in La Liga.

Current season statistics, 31 appearances, 20 sub appearances, 9goals.

Chicharito is a goal poacher, but doesn't really add anything else in the attack. I've always questioned his technical ability.

Technically he's nothing more then average.

However, I feel he's wasted a lot of his potential rotting on the bench, too good to be doing that.

He thrives on service or he is utter useless. Put a quality AM behind him and I think he would do well.

I really hope Felipão was watching yesterday. With all of those visits to Europe, I'm surprised he wasn't there.

Do we want to see this garbage at the Cup? Alves looking to work inside and carelessly gives away possession. Result? Counter attack move that leads to a goal.

They're also looking at Vela, Mauro Icardi(more likely and much better) and Loic Remy.. Courtois is going to stay on loan as a part of Chelsea's payment for Diego Costa.

But Costa is great for Atletico because he's a physical presence, fast and presses like crazy. Chicharito has good acceleration, but he's a poacher inside the box, not a striker for a 4-5-1 that sits deep. I don't think he's the right fit at all there, though I agree he probably should be starting for a decent side (though not a top side).

Costa was valued at 50mil. If he's going to be sold at 35, then either atletico are having 15mil reduced off a courtois transfer this summer, or Torres is returning at say 10mil and the other five is towards a courtois deal.

So I believe Torres is going, option to buy courtois at the end of next season,(unless Cech does appaling), with Chelsea inserting a buyback clause or first refusal etc.
