Aparte del baile tremendo fue entretenido por las broncas que se armaron entre mismos seleccionados ethpanoles.
US-Korea U-17 friendly on Fox right now. US has a bunch of Latinos running around. And they're good, too Touch, skill, brains. It really doesn't look like a US team. Damn, this is making me reconsider my strict anti-US NT stance.
I don't care as long as you support the US bid for 2022... Tienes argolla en FIFA?!?!? ONly 8 more hours to go and i cannot go to sleep... (of course.... i spent the previous night completely awake too so i slept all afternoon)
A young US swimmer recently died after swimming in the hot waters over in nearby UAE. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/23/fran-crippen-dead-us-swim_n_772909.html 130 degrees? I ain't going anyways.
well said, disciple. who else would be complaining about it? imo, what.a.fuqin.joke. but it don't matter, brazil's gonna lose out on '14 and it will be given to us&a or ingerland.
I don't get the 'joke'. The US got it very recently. A middle eastern country has never hosted and Qatar is more than capable both economically and logistically of hosting an event of this magnitude. But of course, 'oh no but wut about teh terroriztzz ?!"
rly? terrorists? it shouldnt be about politics, religion or economics. yup, you guessed it. tell me exactly where the heart and soul of footy is in Qatar? i could see it in Russia. i guess we'll have to wait until the Qs naturalize some Brazilians or Spanish. yea, that's the ticket.
by the way, i aint no math genius but by my estimates, us&a would not have hosted close to 30 years by '22. i recall mexico getting it twice within a 16-year span but obviously that's b/c colombia backed out at the last minute. i see it stopped being about footy when us&a got the rights in '94, followed by those "give it to the newer markets" picks in SoKorea/Japan, SoAfrica and now Russia and Qatar with a little of Germany, France and Brazil sprinkled in for effect.
eh?! terrorists? where?!! I'm bitter because hmm.. it would be awesome to have it locally specially living in CT and being 2 hours away from NY & Boston. Why wouldn't I want the WC here? it was $5k for the flight alone to South Africa, fck that! Yes, I know my answers are about my own personal best interests.
off the top of my head, the two good things about Q '22: - the stadiums - since it's a nice short-distance from all the stadiums in that small-ass country, that means we could conceivably hit up EVERY fukin' match (first round, at least). let's start saving, ladies.
designating spots for our 'illegal fun' is one option they're considering, i've read. it's still years away but i cant help in thinking what kind of atmosphere those matches are gonna have, inside and outside of the stadiums.
qatar? wtf man I was hoping to see another live WC game (apart from brazil) Do they even have a decent local soccer league
Everyone's reaction is eerily similar to that of when South Africa was named host for 2010. Things turned out just fine, for the most part.
