USA women beat Costa Rica to get the 3rd place in Concacaf and a final chance through a play-off with the 5th placed European team ( Italy ) to make it to next years WC.
Y este con? Forza italianas..... Italia, meh, not so much fcking prima donnas, girlish bastards..... Oh, wait we are taking about the women's NT.... nah, i still gotta support the US.... but i would not mind the italianas showing up in a calendar or something after getting knocked out by the US....
Great read on all this companies buying rights to players at a young age and then shop them around the world.. kinda like that big mess of a deal that happened with Tevez/West Ham/Manchested United.. I wonder who in Peru have similar contracts. http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/5764564/anguish-gale-agbossoumonde

Yeah, fuk all that. I hope they don't get anywhere close to Peru. More often than not, a club is going to take care of players better than some leeches trying to make a buck.
The club is looking to make a buck, too. Didn't Claudio Pizzaro have some trouble / conflict of interest claims leveled against him?
Definitely. But clubs have paying members, elections, fans and other ways in which there's at least some form of accountability. These private companies' only purpose is to make money. If they don't find you profitable they'll just dump you off to the side. And yeah, Claudio and his daddy's shady asses are in on this, too.
Did you get a chance to read that Ajax story someone else posted here a few weeks back? It is a shame to see how a solid club cannot compete on the Euro level anymore because they can't keep their home grown players? Instead, they have changed their business model making children as young as 4 and 5 years old the focus of scouts, bring them to the club. If they don't make it, they are out. Ah, to be considered a flop by Ajax at the age of 7! The club pays for everything, but is only looking to sell one or two super transfer players each generation making millions, thus keeping them in business. That system is crushing kids and treating them like meat. But all those people you mentioned are happy as long as the club wins a domestic cup and keeps them rich. Meanwhile, Cienciano can't even play their players.
funny, found this is off reddit today, good read "Why Ajax Are No Longer Dutch Masters" http://swissramble.blogspot.com/2010/11/why-ajax-are-no-longer-dutch-masters.html
their operating strategy is based on two uncertain factors: (a) playing in the lucrative Champions League; and (b) making money from player sales. BINGO!
La Bombonera, Racing's stadium, Velez's stadium. Pretty weird. Sao Paulo isn't a host city for the 2014 WC either.
