With the HUGE 7-0 win they had against Chalate, i'd say its safe to say that after a poor start, Aguila now seem to be back on track.

Independente Nacional is the first to be relegated after losin 2-0 to FAS.

Sadly there aren't very many latinos, let alone Salvadoreans down here. I was reading the other day that we only got about 10.000 true blue Salvis in Australia. So not very many when you compare it with the States

 

Nicolás Muñoz

He's from Panama, and has been playing for Aguila for atleast the past 3-4 years. He's always one of there top scorers. And is always in the top 5 scorers of the league at the end of every season. At the end of last season he was sold to a Colombian club in there first division. He trained with that team for awhile but never played with them as he left before the season started.

Thats about all i know on the guy, i'm not sure about his age, but i think i remember reading that he is in his early 20. Around 22 i think.

Oh, and he got his first cap for Panama in a game played last year against El Salvador. He came of the bench in the second half, but failed to do anything good.

 

Hopefully San Salvador can stay up this season. They have a good team, but have had a couple of bad performaces. In saying this, i would have liked Vista Hermosa to also stay up, but if its out of the two, then hopefully VH is the one to go.

Firpo v Aguila is gonna be GREAT. Hopefully we can pull off another win over them like we did in round 8, when we won 4-1 in San Miguel.

Hopefully Once can beat VH so that SS has a chance of staying up.

Metapán v FAS is also gonna be another good one. Metapán is already in the semi's and FAS has to win to make it.

Same goes for Chalate and Alianza.

 

Vaya pues. Well here in the states there is alot, but sadly since i moved from Kansas City, i haven't had a chance to meet many salvatruchos.

I heard theres alot though, but i live in the suburb.


As for the Muñoz kid, he is a talent, sad to hear about his job outside of el pulgarcito. Anyways, hows Larios doing is he keeping it up!? Cause we need him this GC.

Heh, Aguila is like Olimpia. They both started the tournament losing but once they start winning, you can't stop them.

The Yankees of Central America without a doubt. (My Jays suck unfortunately )

 

Aguila have been for years the best in ES. A few years later FAS have been doing real good. They have 2 more championships now than Aguila, but everybody in ES still feel that Aguila is the best.

The aficion, the winning mentality, the attacking strategy, the psycology, the juego bonito, the style... we are still the big dogs in El Salvador aunque les duela a las Fasistas.

I grew up in Aguila where they tell you right away. "You made it to the best club in the country, be ready to bring championships to our club"

Aguila is not on top yet, we dont have a top line up like we used to. We have a very young squad this year.

Vista Hermosa (Will play against the runners up of second divison, if they lose, they get relegated. If they won, they stay up)
