I was never as big a Bullard fan as most, but we do need to replace his intensity and skill immediately.

Sure. I'll take a talented, motivated 20 year old that's rotting on a bench just looking for a chance to prove himself...

Like tomwilhem said, Bullard needs to be replaced NOW. Etuhu just isnt cutting it. And both ways, Etuhu is a completely different player, he was never a replacement for Jimmy.
But can anyone think of someone who is as good, or almost as good as Bullard who can come quick??

Leeds are asking for 8 million pounds for Fabian Delph, and according to the BBC Gossip Fulham are the team waiting to pounce. Apparently Roy was given 5 million pounds to spend and he just raised 5 million more with the sale of Bullard. The question is, will he blow most of it on one player or break it up and buy two or three players.

"Leeds are demanding £8m for midfielder Fabian Delph, with Fulham desperate to sign him as a replacement for Jimmy Bullard. (Daily Mirror)"

Signed Ben Wright from Hampton and Richmond.

Striker. Signed somewhere in excess of 40k pounds. Hampton and Richmond are in Conference South.

I'm not disappointed about losing Bullard. But I do share in the sentiment that a replacement needs to be found quickly.

Sounds like Giles Barnes from Derby County is coming in on loan to fill the void. I am a fan of this, because the kid has a ton of potential and we don't have to spend of the transfer money to see if he can reach his potential away from the wreck the has been Derby. If he can't cut it with more talent around him then nothing is lost, but if he shows he is able to contribute in a large role at Fulham, then I am sure we will have a shot to make the move permanent .

Giles Barnes move made official and now it appears that Dacourt from Inter Milan will be coming in until the end of the season to provide veteran depth and take the place of the departed Andreason on the bench. That is two of the three players that Hodgson said would be signed, but we are still waiting to see what forward he brings in.

After Nevlands game today. Im content with AJ and Erik playing up top, with Bobby Z coming on if needed. Hell, if we really needed to, we could play Gera and Davies on the sides, with Dempsey providing support for AJ.

I think we will see someone else come in to either put pressure on Zamora on take whatever minutes he is going to get after Nevland surely swiped his starting spot this morning. I think it might be a loan like Caicedo.

Dacourt is getting a physical at Fulham today and now the Cottagers are reaching into recent history to see if a former player can be a hero once again, as they are in negotiations with the Chicago Fire to bring Brian McBride back on loan.

Fairly average player Riise in my opinion. Works really hard in the midfield box to box but technically pretty average. Might do well in England if in the right system as he is athletic and will cause problems.

Fulham might just have the right coach/system for him and he's more been brought on for injury cover at a couple of spots rather than to compete for a starting spot. I think he'll fit in pretty well actually. Fulham needs some depth.
