Im just saying antique, those kits from the past are from the past, you have barca and real madrid kits in the 70's look similiar now but they arent identical? Thats why im saying look at how PB9000 has his mock up compared to the old kit in the 70's they look the same just a slight difference, they are still the strikers antique, you guys have done it brought the golden age back, give yourselves a pat on the back they are back already, you did great, just be happy they are there, I mean I wish I had a team to call my own, be happy and embrace the rebirth if not they'll be taken away, Im happy for yall enoy it.. beggers can't be choosers!! GoStrikers!!

    FYI:

All of the referees in Florida received 2 emails today.

The first one notifying them about the rebranding of the Strikers.
The second one about the game tomorrow against the Tennis players.

There are TONS of registered referees. Some dont ref. But they are registered and received the email anyways.

Seeing that the trend is having a crest/shield instead of the team name across the front, I would think they would have their crest/shield logo on the left side chest with the sponsor name on the front.
Something like this maybe. Without the short-shorts of course and the numbers would be updated.

Kind of off topic, but today I was refereeing, and I see that one of the coaches is wearing a "Mitre" Strikers polo shirt with the old logo. I ask him if he was a Strikers fan, and he tells me that he played for the Strikers. I didn't ask him for his name as he owed me money but it was pretty cool.

Haitien Jean Philippe Peguero is on trial

If his knee is/remains ok, this guy should be a solid player for the Strikers

I think only season ticket holders were invited. BUT a few of the supporters are going to stick around for the USA-Paraguay match. You're more than welcome to come hang out with us.

The mock up unies were just concepts, think outside the box, I have no idea who the sponsor will be. ;)

I RSVP'd a spot for myself, Lucho (I bought season tickets this year...:D..). As dr says, USA v Paraguay will be on at 8PM. Many will stay to watch for awhile. I might join them myself. Come on and join the party. For certain team USA is our team & you'll be among friends...;)

Not sure what year. The only pics I've seen of the APSL Strikers they are in white jerseys. I don't think they ever wore the hoops. But they did have the logo on the jerseys, which the original Strikers didn't(save for the very first '77 team).

The ASL/APSL strikers wore white for the most part when they came to Tampa. I never saw them in the yellow/blue shown above. During that era, they did not wear the hoops at all, just as the Rowdies did not wear hooped sleeves either.
