Aston Villa reportedly very interested in Dzyuba, I'd rather he stay in Russia.

Bilic may be replacing ZasRamos at the helm at Dnipro, in the Summer.

If they give him playing time, I wouldn't mind.

But I really want him in a situation where he can further develop his game.

Yea exactly. Villa's not even an attractive option imo. He might as well stay and maybe move onto a bigger club in the future.

All depends on how Croatia do at Euro. If they get out of the group and make a run to the semis, I would imagine that bigger clubs could be after him.

Maybe a new thread is needed? Anyway, latest player linked to Zenit is Moutinho.

Zenit will have to overpay to get him. Somewhere in the region of 30 million pounds if not more, for Porto to agree. Also I'm sure Moutinho would request his salary to be doubled.

$30M for Moutinho? only cause they know Russian clubs are capable of overpaying and take advantage of their position to do so. That's insane money for Moutinho lol

WHy is that name so familiar?

Excellent move as they have no one to plug in if Jucilei or Akhmedov get injured (like he is now).

Zenit have agreed with Porto on Hulk (all together about 60 million) and Benfica on Witsel (about 40 mil all together).

The team is finalizing the deals with the agents as we speak.

Benfica does not want to sell Witsel but with Zenit triggering his release clause Benfica had no say in the end

The full transfer fee is actually 60 million.
40mil - to Porto for transfer
9mil - to a company that owns 15% of his rights
3mil - to his original club where he started playing (don't know why I guess it's in his contract)
8mil - as bonuses to the player and agent

This transfer just leveled the Luis Figo transfer form Barca to Madrid and is now in the top 6 most expensive transfers in history.

60 mill for Hulk? That is quite a lot.

Yes it's way too much, but if you can afford it you can afford it I guess.

Porto found Hulk in the Japanese 2nd division. That is unbelievable amount. Good luck to zenit.

Its repulsive how much money Zenit spent for those 2 guys. Ok Hulk I can see that, but Witsel cost Benfica prolly like $5M just last year lol. Don't they have to comply by the new financial fair play standards to be in the UCL or is that just some b.s. with a loop hole?

It's BS with a lot of loop holes, especially in a country like Russia, where yearly income numbers can be "adjusted", although UEFA has said that they will not believe a yearly income report from a team like PSG or Zenit for example has higher numbers than that of like Barcelona or Manchester United. That's obviously false. But UEFA in itself is very corrupt, they can be bribed just like FIFA.
