Looks like Kuban are trying to replace Traore...

They've signed some Nigerian from Tavriya, an Armenian from Ajax, and a Senegalese from Osasuna.

    Sorry for the late reply...

Neither guy started and Rubin ended up winning 2-1. I think Rondon will probably play against Dinamo this weekend.

Zenit's interest in Hulk seems to be serious. Spaletti confirmed it and they're reportedly offering 50 million euros + Alves.

It's just a matter of whether Hulk is willing to come to Russia. But Zenit need a game-changer like him.

Anzhi are being linked to Axel Witsel of Benfica too, but I doubt that happens.

Hope to god he doesn't go to Russia expect bigger things from him. Wth is the point, might as well just stay at Porto

It would be a step up. Porto's a top club but Zenit play in a more appealing league.

Well he's played in Japan which is about as far off form Brazil as you can get. :D

He would be a perfect fit for them, he'd fit easily into that attack but he's not worth what is essentially around 60 million euros.

Well he really wants to go to Chelsea I believe, but I don't think they are willing to spend as much as Zenit and Porto simply want the highest offer. Well see what happens.

Yea the Chelsea deal seemed about done not too long ago. But Porto's being very shrewd like always.

Yeah this is why Porto attached a 100m release clause to Hulk as well, so they can sit and wait for the highest offer.

ESPN says that McGeady wants to move to Sunderland. Anything on this in the Russian press?

He said a little while ago that he won't be renewing his contract but I haven't heard anything else. Fun player to watch but he's too inconsistent, Spartak really don't need him but it'll be hard for them to break even with his initial transfer cost.

I think his contract runs through summer 2014 though, so Spartak don't need to sell him. But I agree that they won't break even.

Enlglish teams tend to overpay as well, so who knows. I don't know about Sunderland's financial situation though.

Well, now I'm reading Spaletti say that Zenit's no longer interested in Hulk. I'm guessing Porto priced them out.

Levan Kenia that Georgian wonder kid from Shalke that hasn't done much in the last few years just went to Karpaty hahaha. Supposedly he was going to Zenit and that fell through.

Yea the Zenit situation was weird. Apparently an handful of players put pressure on Spaletti and co. not to sign him.

Spaletti didn't want him. He was a GM "acquisition".
Players didn't like his behavior in training so they asked him to f off. No big deal.

Petrescu resigns at Kuban and will likely take over as Dinamo boss.
