Luzhniki is under construction for the World Cup I think. Dima said Loko didn't let CSKA use their arena, not sure why Khimki wasn't used. Good win for CSKA considering it wasn't a home game.

Really disappointing result for Zenit. I hate these big money teams, most of the play like shit. Man City looked like Sheffield Wednesday against Bayern smh. Would be pathetic if Zenit couldn't take 2nd place ahead of Porto who lost another two studs to Monaco this year. Btw when will Zenit's new arena be ready? They've been working on it for a couple years already

Solid result for Shakhtar, they didn't deserve to lose. Neither team created many chances, both goals were junk. 4 pts in their next 2 games would almost guarantee passage.

Haha pathetic and Sociedad sufferering big time too. To be fair, Man Utd always play like bullshit in away legs in Champs League. Criminal how many times Sir Alex would start Park ji Sung in quarters, semis and finals. He wouldn't play many games all year but those huge away games lol. Gutless.

Like I've said many times before Dnipro's pitch drainage is the disgrace of all modern stadiums around the world. Kolomovsky and contractors pocketed extra money and built a cheap generic stadium. Our field usually is completely ruined by mid-Nov. to mid-April. This year when we finally have a shot to battle for the top 2 spots, our pitch gets ruined in early Oct. 3rd lol typical Ukraine pain. In what should have been a skillful European level game today turned into Volyn v. Zorya. Even if we beat Metalist this weekend there's no way we can compete for a title now on a potato field. Shakhtar, Dynamo and even Metalist with their pristine pitches year round are a bonus, Dnipro's pitch helps make us vulnerable to drop points to inferior teams between Nov. and April, bank on it.

Fuking Dynamo is a joke. Leak multiple goals every single fuking game. Blokhin is doing everything to get fired but they won't do it lol. I wish he at least covered it up in Europe and did well, but these guys are making themselves sweat in a really soft group. Surkis shas daigrayitsa...

Disappointing scoreline for Odessa. Not the end of the world, it was the best team in the group. Just like Dnipro need to get the better of their direct rivals for 2nd spot. Still manageable since they won in Zagreb was a big bonus.

Overall disappointing week for our clubs besides Shakhtar. Dynamo took over for Dnipro as the one Ukrainian club to be an epic disappointment and hurting our coefficients.

Shevchuk was good during the game. He raided that left flank constantly. It would of been good if he made one cross that resulted in a goal. But for his age he is still pretty fast.

Shakhtar only managed to draw at home. Couldn't take a few great chances in the 1st half, last 10 min they were on the back foot and maybe lucky to escape with a draw at the end. Pyatov made a few decent saves. Going to be really tricky to get out of this group now, what is the tiebreaker head to head or goal difference?

The tie breakers are head to head. Shakhtar are actually in a weird situation. They obviously have to beat Sociedad. The Bayer - United game basically has to end in eiher a win for Bayer or a win for United. A draw in that game would be the worst result imo.

If Bayer win and Shakhtar beat Sociedad, then in the last game at Old Trafford Shakhtar would have to get at least a 1-1 draw to advance since they would have the away goal (first game was 0-0). If the game ends in a 0-0 again then it would go to overall goal difference, and that is a stat that will be more clear after the game against Sociedad.

If United win, and Shakhtar beat Sociedad, then in the last game it will depend on how Bayer play in Sociedad and how Shakhtar play in United. Shakhtar would theoretically be up 1 point on Bayer so if both games ended in a tie Shakhtar would advance. If Bayer win in Sociedad then Shakhtar have to win in Manchester. If Shakhtar do win (unlikely), United will finish in 2nd place, so I have a lot of doubts they can do that.
