There's a huge age gap between Shovkovsky and Harmash, Kravets, Boyko. That means the school wasn't producing anyone that could play first squad football.

    Loden,

Venhlynskyi (native of Kyiv), Dopilka (native of Kyiv), and Aliyev (came as a 14 year-old) are also products of Dynamo Academy. So were Lysytskyi (came to Kyiv at 15) and Mandzyuk (came at 16)

They all fall in that 7-8 year period. Given that they have all played in the UNT, I would not call that era a total failure.

If this score line holds, our chances of escaping from this group will increase significantly.
    DK-DZ 2-0
    Porto-PSG 0-0

Yes, but beating Dinamo Zagreb is not enough. Based on what we're seeing (I am not watching the game, actually), everyone in this group should beat them.

Yeah so Porto on 6, DK and PSG with 3, and Hrvatska with 0. Next 2 Porto games will be huge for DK.

Malaga beat Anderlecht as well, so Zenit are 6 behind them and 4 behind Milan.

And for Porto, because Porto still have their visit to PSG, which may be the most difficult match for them.

Sick goal by Porto. Not good for Dynamo. Zorya and Zagreb warm ups are over. Dnipro, Metalist and Porto await

I think DK will still go forward on the boost they got from the coaching change. I didnt get a chance to see the DK game today, but I am interested in seeing what Blokhin has in mind for DKs playint style.

I think what is happening at DK now is that Blokhin is getting to know the players, but around New Years the players are going to start getting to know Blokhin. The second part is going to be interesting.

That awkward moment Brown Ideye notices Blokhin's racist comments circa 2006 pertain to him...

SaSho, Milevskiy, Yarmolenko, Harmash, Husev, Mykhalyk, and Khacheridi already have a pretty good idea.

That's, roughly, 6 starters out of 11. But we can certainly add Koval to the list. He has been called up by Blokhin for several matches.

Based on seeing DKs game against Zagreb I don't see DK getting out of the group, just not good enough. It's for the best too, can't imagine what one of the top teams would do to DK over 2 legs...

A couple years ago I remember DK won in Porto despite getting outshot like 20-3. Was a total bunker job, but I guess that's what they'll need again in a few weeks.

Yea Dynamo needed PSG to win and run away with the group, now with Porto involved its going to be really tough. Prolly will finish 3rd even if they can get 4 pts off of Porto lol

Huge win for Dnipro. Fell behind twice and still came back to win. One of the last games in Rasunda stadion (place Pele won his first WC). Great fans there had no idea. Kalinic and Aliev are off form from not playing much lately, lucky to get out of it from missing so many chances. Napoli at home next, had a good feeling when I saw our fixture list. Win that one and we are very close to advancing.

It's stupid that they are demolishing it although I don't know the details. I would think that AIK would want their own stadium, separate from the NT stadium.

This is kind of what I would like for Dynamo as well. I always wanted the Olympic stadium to be strictly for the National Team and Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup Finals.

I have doubts that AIK will be able to fill half of 50k Friends Arena for their league matches.
