I will tell you what is frustrating. The lack of international coverage of Brazilian football. I can hardly get a peep of the games, with the exception of a few games on Gol TV. I have to rely exclusively on sambafoot.com since it has great highlights and English. I can easily get Serie A, EPL, Eredivisie, La Liga, Bundesliga, Champions League, FMF, some Ligue 1, and trickle of derby matches in smaller countries. What I view as astounding is that a country as large as Brazil and its emerging economic power, they have an extremely small footprint in international coverage. In my opinion, the Brasileirao should be a competitive rival to EPL media/tv coverage because it offers a wholly entertaining, yet unpredictable, soccer league. You really don't know who is going to win the Campeonato, but in the EPL, the season has already been decided before the games have been played. I just think Brazil is selling themselves extremely short and are missing a great opportunity in expanding their footprint.
internet streams help which is my main concern , i just want to see the game. I really wouldn't want to see Eric Wynalda Or Piers Morgan commenting on Brazil so you sacrafise hd quality but you don't get the corniness. Brazils an isolated country; there not looking for foreign interest/ approval. When i was visiting my Girlfriends parents I couldn't even find South American qualifiers on tv in Brazil which shocked me. I just don't feel there that interested in happenings in the sports world outside Brazil. We can go on and on about the lack of organization but maybe thats why the products better. One great thing about watching the Copa libertadores or Serie A is you see talent the rest of the world has no idea about. Tim Vickery on BBc up all night and his other appearances are a must , hes a legend if your looking for good discussion and deeper insight.
You should have been able to find the qualifiers on SporTV. It's probably possible they don't have SporTV, since it's a higher package that you need to get. Vickery does provide some useful insight on occasion, but at the same token, I have seen him utter some complete shit. Unfortunately, there isn't really a way to watch a good amount of games in English in this country. You could subscribe to PFC, which offers games 24/7 in Portuguese. Unfortunately, that channel is limited only to dish and a few select areas on certain cable providers.
I loved Pfc , I had to switch to cable for internet reasons. Whenever you want that rematch in Fifa , you actually outplayed me last game and still lost lol.
Probably during the weekend or real late tonight. I've just been unlucky and I've had issues with your marking. I just found out about using the right stick on defense because I was baffled as to why your defenders had super recovery speed.
I'll be on late tonight and about the right stick can't say I use it much I just enjoy the defensive side of the game.
There's no way your defenders are recovering that quick with out it. They are recovering quick and pushing me off the ball. What was my real problem with yesterday's game was how open your players are on corner kicks. How the hell can you adjust the marking on a set piece? And my men are static up front.
I did notice second half your front two were static. Vagner Love was dangerous the whole first half and really was blanketed in the 2nd. One thing i do is play off the ball defence. For instance you went to chip a ball to Dinho or love instead of staying on the defender closest to the attacker I switch off and cover with another one of my defenders if i know i can't win the header or intercept the pass. I do that on the wings a little bit to I'll call for a double then stay back with one defender reading passes/runs and waiting until you have no choice but to get the ball taken. You have burned me on this before though with good ball movement your first goal was a perfect example.
