Pizzi does what Ronaldo couldn't (beat Demichelis) and scores a nice goal to put Depor up 1 x 0 against Malaga.

What's with the attendance in Seville? Pretty important game and the stadium is about one-third full!

Man I was hoping Málaga would go above Madrid today; they played terribly though, good for Depor.

Well, they have a new coach now; Domingos Paciencia. The man who led Braga to the Europa League final and Champions League group phases for the first time in their history a couple of seasons ago. He's also had a few more good stints at other Portugese clubs. He'll surely keep Depor up, he's a very good coach.

um, have you seen that Iker is on the bench again? So no Pepe, no Ramos too I just read and Iker on the bench. Sadly I think they win anyways but I love the drama over there.

They've pretty much lost the league already, so their win doesn't mean that much (and doesn't depend on their keeper anyway), but I gotta agree - sweet that they fight against each other and seem like a mess. Honestly dunno why Mourinho isn't fired like tonight, to get that new-coach-boost and clean table from tensions before ManU battles, especially since Mourinho doesn't seem like their long term coach anyway.

Makes sense, you simply just don't become better than Adan overnight :p

Plenty of open seats in the Bernabeu.

I think Suarez is a very valuable player, we were rumored to be interested before he moved from the Netherlands to Liverpool. In hindsight that would've been a great signing. Now it is a bit too late - too expensive, and we've spent the money on Villa and then Sanchez and supposedly have a down payment on Neymar as well. But perhaps if we do not in fact sign Neymar he could fit in.

I feel like he is a bit of an annoying player to play against but one who you are thankful to have if he is on your team. Not really about his maturity just that he will do anything to win. We already get grief about having Alves, Busquets, sometime Pedro and Alexis doing that sort of thing, certainly they'd be more of that if Suarez joined, but his performance and the results would likely justify any ribbing we got from rival fans.

Speaking of Champs to Chumps, Juventus lost at home to Sampdoria. I actually got to watch that exact fixture in Turin in 2004 (the old lady won that time). Of course Juventus are far from chumps, still leading Serie A by a comfortable 8 points. Milan got a goal from Bojan shortly after being subbed on as Pazzini got the start and an insurance goal in the post-Pato era, Robinho now looks set to stay but must regain fitness (was not on the bench today).

Khedira with a scrappy goal ... 2 x 1. Too bad Sociedad don't seem to know how to take advantage of a man advantage and a defense with Carvalho.

Heh, Suarez clearly controlling the ball with his hand and putting it in to make it 2-0 to Liverpool. Goal stood, wrong decision clearly.

Sociedad are getting dominated, not sure what they're doing right now.

Iker shoving Crissy away when he hesitantly offers to give the captain's armband to him. So awkward. There's just not enough popcorn for this one.

Ten man LPB score twice yet Mourinho stays in the dugout. One of the Madridistas in the crowd must've hurt his feelings by telling him to phuk off back to Portugal or something.
