Is this an Andrew Hauptman April Fools' Joke?

What happens of Indy Eleven win?

Edit: What happens when Indy Eleven wins?

PW wins by default forfeit. Andy will be a no-show. Again.

Forget arm wrestling. PBR chugging contest at midfield.

Unless "PBR" stands for "Prancing Baby Reindeer" this one would be over before it begins.

All jokes aside, ya gotta give the Fire props for this friendly. Cool stuff.

The Fire agreeing to this friendly shows the legitimacy of Indy 11 regardless of Andys temper tantrum at CJs induction to the ROF.

I wish Peter all the best with this club, wouldn't be surprised to see them in MLS soon.

Bump. I hope the Eleven wipe the field with the Fire. As l0ng as PW is running the Eleven, I will support the Eleven against the Fire in every competition, including the USOC. Congrats, Andi!

I agree with Apu, regardless of what those old waterpark commercials would brainwash you into believing there is nothing more than corn in Indiana.

I refuse to cheer for any Andi#HauptmanOut team against any team run by PW. Sue me. That man represents "Fire." That other guy represents death and LA. I will always support the Fire.
In a way, just cheering for PW means Andi loses. He's lost his fanbase, if even for a day.

I'd like Indy Eleven to win, because they can probably spin it into even MORE anticipation than they have right now.

It takes playing a minor league expansion team for Rolfe and JLA to score..

Now that Indy lost lets get this glossy eyed garbage out of the way. YES, Peter Wilt does represent the Fire. No doubt about that and no qualms with what hes doing. But who represents the Fire as well? The players on the field, and the fans in the stands. Its not their / our fault that the Fire owner sucks and that hes too cheap to spend his wife's money. You hate on him for not winning anything but then admit you would root against the Fire in a competition that means the world to the club and the fans? That I don't understand. When all is said and done I want CHICAGO to own the soccer conversation in America, for CHICAGO to be the team that people dread playing, for CHICAGO to make people forget about the tight pants hipsters in the northwest. Peter Wilt may be an excellent man and legend for the club, but ******** Indiana. ******** Andrew. This is for the city and the fans, its bigger than Peter Wilt, bigger than Andy, bigger than you bigger than me, this is for mother ********ing CHICAGO. GO FIRE.

Pineda was probably the best player on the pitch, hope to see it if he can keep the level of play to the MLS level

I thought Rolfe, Nyarko and Duka all looked better actually. And I'll give a hat tip to Robinson for sentimental reasons. Pineda had some very nice moves but not best on the pitch.

I think shirts and skins might have been a better idea. The anger I feel every time I see that Andy jersey has not yet dulled.
